Awful. My condolences to his loved ones and I hope he finds the peace he needs.
 
Hm I feel a little bit like Buffy in "What's my line" right now. I've been to see a career counselor two days in a row now (I feel like it might be time for a change and I thought it'd help to have some guidance) and after two hours of discussion what might be suitable for me she says... the defense or law enforcement...

I can say that my reaction to the occupation was much like Buffy's... none too pleased. 😉

I've just got back from an 11 day holiday in Spain. I had such a nice time, it was really relaxing. Back to work on Monday 🙁

I've heard a lot of people say it was good! Unfortunately I hardly ever get to go to the movies anymore so I will probably wait to see it til it comes out on DVD.

I have a horrible headache today... The kids are being so loud and my husband isn't doing a damn thing to make them stop. Bluh...

I know we don't have that many fans of The Guild here but I'll share anyway. I enjoy it surprisingly much considering that I'm not a gamer. I just finsished the first comic and I have to say that it's the comic I've enjoyed most of the ones I've read lately. Firefly/Serenity, Dollhouse, Dr Horrible and Fringe ones as well as Angel and Buffy. All of them have had their appeal and some I've enjoyed more but as a whole I've felt like they're a bonus and nothing more. Not really missing out if you don't read them. This gave the backstory in a good way. If you like The Guild I recommend it.

It was a very accurate yet comedic take on certain aspects of the the MMO gamer experience, but as I lost interest in MMOs I did relate to it as much.

I know!! It's exciting!!! :D
So having declared the first week of my fortnight from hell a success, week 2 started with a disaster. No power in the store for 10 hours, but not allowed to leave just in case it comes back on during business hours...which it did 🙁

I don't like moaning, especially not on forums, but *grrrrr*


I feel better now.
 
This week I'll be dog-sitting for a friend of my Mom's. The dog is a small little thing who is adorable, but it means being stuck inside and not being able to go out much this week. 🙁 Oh well, I can catch up on my reading and Buffy rewatch. 😛

How is everyone else enjoying their summer?
