Lounge/ Common Room/ Tea Bar - Thread #4

Working, a lot... My legs are killing me and I almost don't have time for myself lately but money!!! All I need to think about is the new mattress I'll buy next week and the money I'll save for uni!

A month old mattress, one you've had just long enough to get used to it, is pretty much the best thing in the world. Don;t get me wrong an education is a great thing, but a new mattress mmmm 🙂

Well it's mostly that a new mattress means less insomnia, in my case.
 
A good mattress is soooo important. I never realized how important it was til we got a new one a couple years ago. It's like sleeping on a cloud; I love my bed. 😀
 
My husband wanted to get a pillow-top mattress when we got married and I caved and let him. I hated it. Well, last year he started complaining about the exact reasons I didn't want one in the first place (it leaves an indent where you sleep, not supportive enough, etc.) After resisting the urge to slap him upside the head ( 😉 ) we bought a Sleep Number Bed. LOVE IT!

I've been seriously considering getting a sleep number bed but can't seem to justify spending the money yet. Which kind did you get?
 
I love my bed! But its getting a bit old now so it'll be time to replace it soon. But I dont want to! I love it so much.
 
I'm thinking that's why I don't always sleep well. That maybe a small portion of not sleeping well is because of the mattress. :/

My mattress is the one that used to belong to my mom before she changed it. She's had it for years so it was already pretty much dead by the time I got it. Now it's officially dead-and-done-with. I can't wait to get one that'll actually bend a little when I'll sit on it.

It's a Series 5000 or something - one of the older ones. We bought it used from someone we know. My in-laws bought one of the expensive ones last year, but ours actually seems nicer.
 
This July has consisted of constant rain every single day. I want it to be over already!

It's not just rain though. It's holy crap I hope someone built that ark type rain. Seriously I am starting to believe that a 630 year old dude needs to built a boat to survive this. 🙂

So, what's everyone been up to? After camping all weekend, spending yesterday at the shack, then working all day today, I'm ready for an epic nap! Sadly, I do not see one in my future...

I hate it when you need sleep and feel like you have no time to get one
I am going camping for a couple of days spur of the moment. We're just chucking stuff in the boot of my car and driving. If I had my way we would have gone tonight but my boyfriend put his foot down and said no, meanie, so we're going tomorrow very early 🙂 I can't wait and I'm really excited. The weathers beautiful and it's meant to be 30 degrees tomorrow.

I also had my interview today for a staff nurse job so I'm a little bit hyper at the moment 🙂
