I'm a pro at this ahahah
I had all of my wisdom teeth removed by a surgeon on the 21 of July. I stayed in the hospital all day and they already gave me something to eat after 3 hours from the surgery (yogurt). I didn't feel pain until the evening 'cause the sedative and the anaesthetic didn't wear off totally until then, but I had to take a painkiller every 12 hours for the following 3 days and then just when I felt pain.
The surgery was on a saturday morning and I was able to go out already on wednesay. I still was a bit swollen but not much. After twoo weeks the doctor took the stitches out.
The doctor totally forbidded me from eating warm stuff for the two days after the operation, just cold stuff that helps the healing. Plenty of yogurt, ice cream, ice lollies, puddings and so on 🙂 then I started eating mashed potatoes and some risotto, not hot but just a little warm 🙂
But don't worry, it's not that painfull, the stitches can be bothering though! 🙂
I don't know if they gave you a special mouthwash to disinfect, but a mouthwash made of water and a teaspoon of salt really helps the healing!
