Madonna or Lady Gaga?

If it weren't for Madonna there would be no Lady Gaga. And LG is supposed to be edgy, but Madonna kissed Black Jesus in 1989. I think LG does have more innate musical talent, but I wouldn't consider her the cultural icon that Madonna is.

You have every right to like whatever you want. Just like I have every right to think that your taste is rubbish! Majority of people think my taste in music is rubbish. My honest opinion on the matter just happens to be that I think my taste is good and that yours isn't! My opinion. You don't have to agree!

Haha well I believe that taste is subjective. But...fair enough. I just wouldn't consider someone who likes Madonna or Lady Gaga to have bad taste, because for all I know they might also be a fan of a really talented artist/band (Lady Gaga is talented, she just rarely shows it for some idiotic reason). I think if I ever meet someone who claims that Stupid Hoe is their favorite song, that will be the day when I truly believe that someone is capable of having zero taste.

I'm so glad you've said that. My co-worker has a....broad range of music preferences, and I like that about him. But as soon as he said he likes "Stupid Hoe", his IQ just went down by a gazillion points in my book. Hahaha. Music, or any art, like TV or film, is inherently subjective, but in rare cases.........I mean.......how can somebody say they legitimately like that song and mean it? 😛

I used to love Madonna. I don't hate her now, but I grew out of it. I was a huge Gaga fan before, but now, not so much. I still listen to her, but I don't enjoy it as I used to.

I loved LadyGaga until the new album came out. I even went the the Monster Ball Tour when it came in Italy...it was truly fantastic, one of the best shows I ever saw. But I don't like this new album at all, Born This Way is crap to me! And she's way over the top for me now...it's like she's trying too hard!
