McFlurry

I'd give up sex for a year for one of those burgers too, but in my case it's likely I won't have sex in the next year anyway, so at least I get a burger out of the deal this way!

MMMMMmmmm Chicken.

Take McDonalds out of the loop, were still gonna be eating meat...it all has to come from somewhere (mass production farms allow us to survive)...I won't defend them any more than this because (not saying yourself) things become very irrational very quick on this subject.

McDonald's is sick, but I do love a good McFlurry. The only kinds I see round here (Wisconsin) is Oreo & M&M. Never any others. Not anymore. I always get Oreo.

The McFlurry is a tasty treat for certain, and I'm not knocking anyone for enjoying them, but I'm afraid that the DQ's (Dairy Queen) Blizzard is the superior of the two in terms of variety of flavors (not including seasonal flavors) as well as container sizes.

It makes me sad to hear your responses......disapointing, really. Perhaps, this isn't the place for such a dsicussion but... as a vegan I had to say something. I thought the boards were supposed to be a place of respect. Everyone has a right to their opinion, right or wrong. I choose to advocate openmindess, non-violence, compassion, love, and respect for all. Mcdonalds does not support a healthy world.

I wouldn't say that anybody is disrespecting you. I'm sure everybody understands but some people just really like meat. 😛 Like you said, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and those are theirs.

But let's not get all worked up over something that is represented by this:

I meant no disrespect. I am a huge advocate of animal rights. I was a vegitarian for years, and the only reason I stopped was because I developed unrelated health issues, and I needed to be healthier. I was also a member of Peta.
As a Vegan though, and that is something to be proud of, its a hard thing to be, you have to respect that theres people here who eat meat. Thats never going to change.
Does McDonalds kill animals for food? of course they do. But are they any worse than say A&W, KFC, Burger King, Taco Bell, Subway, Wendys or anywhere else? Not at all.
And the discussion was about ice cream.
 
You're a vegan, which is great for you. I'm a complete and utter carnivore, and have even slaughtered my own lamb, so yeah.

The point of this thread is to talk about the deliciousness that is McFlurrys.

If you want to start another thread about fast food places & animal cruelty, be my guest, but for now it's NOMNOMNOM.

I support this idea, but not for reasons you do - I'm more concerned with the 'McDonaldization' of society than what kind of meat they use [or if they use any at all]. Their meat is akin to rubber anyway. ...I had a bad McChicken today. I'm still bitter.

ANYWAY, WAY TO MAKE THE PREGGO WANT A MCFLURRY. I hope Mark will wake up and buy it for me.
 
I must say I've never had a McFlurry! I don't really go in McDonald's that much since my mum always warned me off when I was little and they didn't really have many vegetarian options, when I was little either , so I've never developed a taste for it.

They have some good vegetarian friendly stuff: McFlurries, apple pies, grilled cheese, cinamon melts. yum.

I know 🙂, but going to Mcdonalds to eat never enters my head when i'm out. Subway always grabs me! or Greggs yum!
