A friend of mine just told me that her parents are still laughing thinking about me because when I met them,
1. I lost my way when I came back from the bathroom
2. I said to the dad "How come your daughter don't tell you you sniff while she tells me that all the time?" (followed by an auto facepalm)
3. I threw up their acid lemonade twice in 20 minutes (almost on the cat the first time).
Thing is, it's not the first time I make such a first impression. A friend's mother laughs at me whenever she sees me because my bag attacked their dog and I had difficulties eating my spaghettis with a spoon.
I'm almost afraid to have to some day meet my future boyfriend's parents, because I know something will go wrong again.
So, folks, I want to feel less alone in my "oh-gosh-what-a-shame". Did you ever wished you were less clumsy or that your mouth was linked to your brain when you met someone's parents?
