Wow! I'm impressed you guys have met so many of them! Does anyone know if the cast still goes to Comic-Con in Cali? I've always wanted to go but assumed they arn't there for Buffy anylonger.

I've met Nicholas Brendon. Oh, and I met his twin brother Kelly too so I suppose that counts as another one. Nicky was so sweet, you have no idea (unless you've met him) and Kelly was just as sweet. I came over all star-struck and it was really bad so I have vowed to be more calm for the next person I meet. But my Armageddon exprience really was the bomb. And in the panel my friend got dared to ask Nicholas to marry her, which she did and he said "Well, I'd have to check with my ex-girlfriend first...but I'm not saying no."
So yeah, I'm really hoping to meet Amy Acker or James Marsters. I might just melt.

I will be meeting James Marsters & Juliet Landau in September and then James again in October in Paris! I cant even explain how excited i am!

Its a con in the UK called the Vampire Ball (3). I wanna do costumes! haha! Its a 3 day con and on the first night there is a Sunnydale High Prom! yey! It says costumes are optional hehe!

Costumes are so much fun when you're in a place where people will recognize what you're doing (The Vampire Ball, Sunnydale High Prom especially, is definitely that place)! Though it may not be the thing to do if you're shy... People ask to take your picture / take pictures with you! The actors also seem genuinely honored when you cosplay their characters, and genuinely impressed when you cosplay them WELL (We've even had an actress ask for OUR picture). 🙂 It's a whole different experience in costume.

oh wow! what is your costume choice? i would love to do it but i am pretty shy haha, but you only live once and its not everyday you get to spend a weekend with other Buffy fans so i say - embrace it and enjoy it =D especially the dressing up!

Exactly, [MENTION=11826]jellybean13[/MENTION]! That's the spirit! 😀 We've dressed as vampire Spike and Harmony (lumpies, fangs and all! Mercedes asked for our photo!); Ben and Glory (reverse, my husband in the dress and me in the scrubs! People cheered as we walked forward to have our picture with Clare Kramer, so definitely an adrenaline rush for someone shy, I'm sure); Simon and Kaylee (Firefly - Sean Maher was particularly adorable upon seeing my Kaylee); Mr. Universe & Lenore the Lovebot (Serenity)... and then some not-directly Joss stuff (Chuck & Sarah, for example, who we did because Adam Baldwin was supposed to be at Dragon*Con last year, but he ended up not being able to make it last minute...). I, of course, have a forever-long list of things I want to cosplay still. We usually try base our cosplaying around who we'll be meeting that year.
Who might you be? 😀 Are you going solo, or is there someone you can con (pun intended) into cosplaying with you? It's helpful for people recognizing you if you've got a relevant partner!

My sis actually looks quite like SMG (so lucky) so all she would need to do is carry a stake and there is Buffy!

Yes! Be Dru! My husband has forbid it for me because he said he wouldn't be able to put up with me acting all crazy-like (err, as he puts it, "crazier than usual". *grumpy face*).
And in regards to your sister... Don't forget the red leather pants! Red leather pants are a Buffy cosplay must (if you are just doing generic Buffy, and not some episode-specific version). 😀

I saw a couple dressed as vamp Harmnony and Spike last year at Dragon*Con. It was day 1 and it being my first con, I didn't want to ask them to take a picture but the costumes were incredible. I actually ran into Harmony in the restroom and was surprised, then walked out to see Spike standing there waiting while holding a giant stuffed unicorn! It was so hilarious and awesome haha.
I can't wait for them to announce more guests for this years D*C. *crosses fingers for lots of Jossverse people* So far I've seen Jane Espenson, J. August Richards, and Adam Baldwin on the list. I also heard Amber Benson was going, but she isn't on the main list yet.

I met Amber Benson a few years back when she was doing signings for Lovers, Liars and Lunatics in the UK. I pulled a sicky to get out of college, so I could go and see her.... ended up having the whole week off because I really did end up ill after waiting hours in the cold and the rain lol. Well worth it though. She is such a sweet person!
