Meeting the cast!

Have any of you ever met any of the cast of BtVS or Angel? I'd love to hear your stories. 🙂

I really want to meet SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Eliza Dushku, and James Marsters. Really, I'd be thrilled to meet any of the cast. 😱

I have met Anthony Stewart Head, Robin Sachs and Stephanie Romanov at Hallowhedon last year, they were all really Nice

ASH was a really cool guy, I didnt get much time with him, but I was one of the first to meet him as I saw him in the foyer of the hotel and we had like a two minute chat, by chat I mean me fan-boying 😛

Robin Sachs was amazing, he was really nice and I had a 45 minute guest encounter with him which he was so funny in, and he was really nice!!

Stephanie was absolutely hilarious, at the opening ceromony she was drunk and at the talk she was flirting with Jewel Staite. I also had a Guest encounter with her and she was soo funny as well. And she was really nice. I have awesome meories!!

At this event I also met Jewel Staite and Alan Tudyk who are from firefly and Dollhouse 😀


I also met Mercedes Mcnabb who I only saw for a bit but she was so nice and REALLY pretty.


In the future I plan to meet Charisma Carpenter, Amber Benson, Adam Busch, Nicholas Brendon, Mark Metcalf, Julie Benz and Amy Acker at events later this year 😀

I've met Amber Benson, Julie Benz, and Charisma Carpenter.

They were all so so nice. I loved meeting each of them. I saw amber at a book signing she did. She was really sweet and so funny. I got to talk with her for a few minutes.

Julie and Charisma I met at a convention. I got to listen to them talk for like an hour and ask them a bunch of questions and then I also got to talk to them one on one. It was amazing. They were both sooooo sweet. Charisma was hilarious shes so sarcastic. Julie is just such a sweetheart and seems so genuine.

I really want to meet Eliza.

I'm curious for people who have been to conventions. Do you usually get to talk to the cast/take a picture or is it just a quick few seconds with a "hey, how are ya" and an autograph? I've always wanted to go to a convention but I would have to pay at least $600 plane tix, hotels, plus the $40+ for the convention pass. I don't have enough money now but I'm just wondering if it's worth it.

The closest I came was when I paid $250 for a private concert with James Marsters. He had to cancel because he was filming a pilot so I got refunded and ended up not going but that seemed worth it since it was just a few people in a small concert setting.

As for me, the only ones I've met, I met in my dreams. Good dreams though. There was that nice meeting with JM. I liked less the meeting with MT.

You can look up on youtube "Meeting James Marsters" and it has vids of people meeting him at some kind of convention or something and they get his autograph and get to have like a whole conversation during the process because he takes his time signing it. 🙂

Anyways, I had a dream I was in Hollywood, and I saw SMG and Michelle Trachtenberg walking together. I went up to them to say Hi but they were total bit%#es. 🙁

All of them were very nice. James and Eliza were probably the most extroverted and interactive with the fans.

I've met James Marsters for 30 seconds once at a convention when I got his autograph. But I suck at getting autographs. Some people are nice and talk for ages with particular people while they're signing, but I am always too shy and stay-stricken to say anything. I just grin like an idiot and say "Hi" and "Thanks" in a really high pitched voice.

When I met James Marsters he was really nice, even though I went mute, but I tied to shake his hand and he politely told me that he was sick and he shouldn't. I was all ready to tell him I didn't care and I would gladly get his germs, but that might have come across as creepy...

I reeeeeally want to meet Anthony Head. Then my life will be complete. He looks so nice and friendly, but I just know if I ever met him I would screw it up and waste the opportunity to actually say anything to him.

I've met Adam Baldwin. He was like 5 years old at the time. 🙂 My family lived across the street from his family until I was 10.

But seriously, I met him again at Phoenix Comic-Con three months ago. And I met Nicholas Brendon there too, and he was really sweet. And I met Clare Kramer there too.

I would so love to meet Anthony Stewart Head. I'm kicking myself for not going to San Diego Comic-Con this year. I'm guessing (no spoiler - just a guess based on the plot arcs) that his character dies in Merlin this coming season, so he may not be at SDCC next year.

Anthony Stewart Head is nice! And very funny. When I was getting my pic autographed at last year's Hallowhedon he talked to me a little bit about the shot of him, saying it was from season seven, the parts that were filmed at his home. I think I mumbled something about it being a good photo, heh.

The other Whedonverse people I've met were at Hallowhedon too; Alan Tudyk, Jewel Staite, Stephanie Romanov and Robin Sachs. I went to one of James Marsters' concerts in London in 2010, which was great. 😀

When they had their annual Posting Board Party, I went to their pre-posting board party [I wasn't lucky enough to score tickets to the big party]. None of them showed up to that, but the pre-pre-party had the blonde dude from "Doublemeat Palace". I didn't exactly 'meet' him as I was really really shy back then but I was in the same motel room as him. You'd be surprised at how many people can actually fit into a motel room.

Ooh, I almost got to meet Alexis Denisof...if I happened to turn my head to the right in the direction of the motel's offices. 🙁 He was planning on showing up to this Wes Fans' gathering that week, but he had prior commitments.

But that wasn't the question. No, I haven't met anyone from the shows. I had some close calls though. Does that count? 😛

Adam was about five years younger than I, and since we moved away when I was 10 I never really interacted with him. His oldest brother was one of my best friends during that period, and we're back in touch now. But I'm not going to discuss or ask about Adam with him - that's not why I wanted to get back in touch with him. 🙂
