Megan Fox to Play Buffy?

She's okay but she could definitely not pull off Buffy. I can't see her as Buffy at all.

It's cool that they thought of Kristen Bell, though. I always thought Veronica and Buffy were very similar characters. (Veronica being Kristen's titular role in Veronica Mars, which Joss was a fan of and made a cameo appearance on. Aly and Charisma were in it too!)
 
I think there is more chance of me playing Buffy then Kristen Stewart.

Weirdly, I could see Leighton Meester managing to do Buffy... I can't see it happening though.
 
Well I definitely don't think Michelle Trachtenberg is a serious candidate for playing Buffy. And I doubt she would take the role if it was offered to her - due to her close friendships with Joss Whedon & Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Plus wouldn't it be weird to play your older fictional sister.
I think Jessica Biel could probably do it - I don't know if I'd like to see it though. Personally I think it would probably work better to have a young up and comer play the role. I think I'd like a blonde though. And someone that isn't stupid blonde pretty, but a bit more unique looking.

Oh, gosh I don't even want a buffy movie without the original cast.
I know buffy thinks Kristen Bell is too willow-y but I think she'd be good as Buffy too. She does kind of have a willow thing going on now that I look at some of her pics though too. Hmmm!

Please not Megan. Just the image that she would bring to the movie would not be buffy. Nothing personal but Buffy was never erm, sleezy like that.
 
Kristen Bell nerdy? She was pretty dark and badass in VM. Outcast and nerdy are too different things, Kristen Bell has played the outcast quite well, and noone seems more outcast than Buffy.

I think Buffy needs the ditsy blonde anyway... isn't that what Buffy was, the surpise? I would never in a million years have chosen SMG for Buffy... but then im not Joss. I was proven wrong.

To be fair, i'm not sure many men are gonna argue with that. Forget about Kristen bell.
 
I feel like with the people in that list, they should just suggest SMG as Buffy. Honestly, aren't some of those people practically her age anyway?
 
I think I'm the only one (including Megan Fox, who always says she thinks she's sexy in interviews) who doesn't think Megan Fox is "hot". She has a bit of a botox face if you ask me ( And no, I don't think I'm prettier than her, 'cause I'm not) anyway: I don't think she's going to play Buffy, at least I hope not.

She just isn't Buffyish (whatever that means)

While she doesn't inspire me to commit vomit-related violence against her, I don't think Megan Fox is particularly attractive
Personally - I see Megan Fox as either a Cordelia type or a Faith type of character. Definitely Not Buffy.

BTW - Buffy isn't the "typical Ditzy Airhead Blonde" - like Harmony is. Buffy is just has Blonde hair and she's actually pretty clever, and very resourceful. So Kristen Bell could work.

But it's still going to be hard to cast the character - since most of the fans of the TV series tend to think of SMG playing that role.
