Megan Fox to Play Buffy?

I think she is probably too aged now, but I would have loved to see

as Buffy. She would have brought such an edge to the character. And she actually is a damn fine actor (which maybe is why she wouldnt do the role but I digress, she did Cursed afterall!)
 
Hm, yeah I could see her as Buffy. I don't know how old she is, but she looks very Buffy in that picture--a well versed in the skills of slaying Buffy.
 
Actually Megan Fox is to play Catwoman in the new Batman movie...
 
I think that the series is better suited for TV. A movie just seems like a cash grab.
 
DNW Megan Fox in any Buffy movie.

Christina Ricci would make a bad ass Buffy.

But I still think Kristen Bell could be almost as great as SMG in the role.

I am not at all ok with it and the thought still makes me upset. But I figure, if the people who are making it are not going to leave, than even if I am really not liking the idea, I might as well guess who is going to play her. 🙂
 
Kristen Bell would be cool as Buffy, although Buffy should at least be at the tail end of high school--that is, if the new movie is going to be set during the time when Buffy finds out that she's the Slayer.

But I think Bell could definitely take on the role, she's an amazing actress, she's got insanely good punning skills.... and I bet she could throw down with the punches quite well. I think she's just as good an actress as SMG. Honestly, if KB was the new Buffy I'd have a nerd heart attack. I don't actually see it happening (the casting of KB or the heart attack) but it would definitely be a "pro" in this whole Buffy movie situation.
 
Yeah, Kristen is apparentley in callbacks for a musical version of Heathers (groan), so I don't know if she would even have enough time.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this news. I love Kristin Bell, and Heathers was great, and I adore musicals. But this is... odd.
Your post is a rollercoaster of emotions to me.
