Moments that scared you, creeped you out

Yeah, that's about it. Not like "oh gross" moments, but moments that gave you the chills.

The scene with Willow and Spike in Lover's Walk where he is smelling her and telling her how long it's been since he's had a woman, and then he threatens her with the bottle. I was really scared for her.

Yes, uncomfortable scene indeed!
I hate the episode in Season Four 'Where Wild Things Are'... Always freaks me out that those poor kids were held underwater and that horrible woman was drowning them.
Also got scared in Season One with Sid. I think watching Goosebumps when I was 5 years old had scarred me there. (Now I like Sid and was sad that they didn't utilize him to be a cool character)

yes, that women holding the kids heads was horrible.
Gnarl, the demon from Same Time, Same Place really freaked me out. It's the skin eating I think, I felt the same watching Austin Powers Goldmember!
Anya cutting her face in After Life
Joyce's shadowy figure reaching the door and knocking in in Forever

The only thing I can recall that scared me was The Gentlemen. Everything else above just freaked me out.
 
The creature from the hospital in S2...'Killed By Death'
Not the Gentlemen but their footmen- the guys in the strait jackets. 😱

The First Slayer- or really the whole 'gewtting stalked in your dreams' thing. The scene where Xander is trying to get away but keeps on coming back to his basement. Scary.
Sweet's Minion's def.

Gnarl was creepy as anything.
Dawn's battle in CwDP.

The creeping guys from 'Waiting In The Wings'! With their soft laughter or crying and fixed expressions. They've been in my nightmares...

Yes, and in Listening to Fear when Joyce is in bed rambling to herself and how it upsets Dawn to hear her mother like that. I found that scene really unsettling.
 
My list:

- Kralick terrorising Joyce, telling her he's going to turn Buffy and watch her kill her.
- Gravok spiders.
- The Gentlemen- the rictus grins and silent gliding *shudder*
- Xander's Dad in his 'Restless' dream.
- Clown Demons in 'Family'
- Possible Joyce in 'Forever'. In fact, Doc was also unnerving here. Not in 'Weight Of The World/'The Gift' though, he descended into camp.
- Eythros demon in Angel S1
- The Beast
- Gnarl
 
Anya walking into the bedroom and cutting her face with a knife in Afterlife. Also, Xander's dad creeped me out in Restless.
 
When Faith is strangling Xander and has to be knocked out by Angel... The look on her face really creeps me out.
The AR scares me whenever I see it. I can wholly understand James Marsters in saying "I'm proud of it artistically, but as a human being I never, never, never want to do a scene like that again and I will always refuse because I know what it does to me." Whatever else you think of that scene, artistically it's fantastic, the acting is intense and amazing from both sides and it makes for a truly chilling scene.
Another vote for zombie Joyce.

Also, kind of any scene with Warren in season 6. Warren scares me, kind of by just being Warren.

You're right, everytime I see it I am shocked at how terrifying and disturbing it is. She was really begging him to stop and he was a monster.

Agree, that's straight up getting off on the power of it whilst disassociation from her own actions. A dark path indeed. *shudder*

I think it was a mistake putting a commercial break in the middle of the scene though. That was a tasteless move.
 
The entire episode "The Pack" creeps me out. They ate principal Flutie...OMG. And Xander going after Buffy...and the way the students acted, it was all way weird to me. It was worse to me than werewolves because they retained their human form but acted like hyenas, that made it creepier to me.

Yeah, I recently re-watched that and it is very unsettling when you start to think about it. Especially Flutie. I can see why they felt the need to exclude Xander from that scene... :S His wasn't much better of course, but at least it wasn't eating a human being alive.

Yes and the fact that Xander remembers the experience afterwards means the bullies did too. They'd remember eating their principal alive.
