If I have spelt uruguay or urugyan wrong.. ... .. who cares?
I just watched the Germany v Uruguay game. It lived up to my expectations;
Germany played good enough to win.
The urugyan players were dirty, willing to cheat at almost every opportunity.
The referee was incompetently bad.
The urugyan 2nd goal was directly because of a tackle made by one of them.
About that tackle.
The urugyan player went in far to late, for it even to be considered he had any intention of getting the ball. A minimum of a free-kick, possible yellow card. He also caught the German player on the upper thigh with the studs. A minimum of a red card.
Why was the last free kick of the game given? Because the referee was incompetant.
Both players were using their arms, the Urugyan player was behind the German player. (If you see a replay, look at the face of the Urugyan player).
Can you say trying to get a free kick?
In the game against Ghana he deliberately handled to ball to stop a goal. Making him a nominee for biggest cheat of the games.
When the German's scored their second goal, watch the defenders actions. The urugyan no:2pushed the German striker with both hands.
Do cheats prosper? After the winning goal was scored in a subsequent urugyan attack one of the urugyan attackers faked an injury, his body lying on the ground, the attack was stopped solely because his body stopped a pass that would have put one of their players in a good position to score.
Beating all the others; Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Spain are Uruguay. I think they have been the biggest cheats of this world cup.
A big beef I have is those ruddy useless horns the South African people like to blow, the sound that is made isn't even a proper note, it is a little bit off of a black note on the piano.
The sound makes it hard for the players to communicate during a game.
The sound makes it nigh on impossible for the coach to communicate to his players during the game.
The sound makes it hard for the players to hear the referees whistle.
Any player having to put up with that sound will get hearing problems and partial deafness. And that is a fact.
I infer that the people who blow those 'trumpets' want to obstruct the way the game is played, they want to cause partial deafness in some players.
I'd suggest that any player suffering partial or total deafness due to those ruddy horns sue FIFA, as it breaches the ' Duty Of Care ' regulations for those players.
In most countries of the world there are laws concerning maximum levels of sound (decibels) allowed to be caused by items. It could be maintained that the people blowing those 'trumpets' aren't aware of any damage they are doing to other peoples hearing. As far as I am aware, ignorance of the law isn't an accepted excuse.
