Movies That Made You Run Out Of Theater After A Few Minutes

You just reminded me! I walked out on the Titanic multiple times, trying to watch that bore fest! A few years ago I finally manged to watch the whole thing, and I maintain it's one of the most boring movie I've ever seen.

Haha I watched more than fifty movies more boring than Titanic, such as:

Yeah I can sit through all these kind of stuff and understand where directors/writers are come from. But somehow Pacific Rim and Man of Steel were just unbearable to me.

Really?! I was really looking foward to this movie 🙁 Haven't seen it yet, but it looked great.

To be fair it's not the sort of film I enjoy. My girlfriend chose it and sometimes I get a nice surprise and enjoy something different. Not this time. Too slow for me and I didn't find any of the characters likeable. Might be stuff in there for others to enjoy though.

Haven't walked out on a movie since I was a teenager.
LOTR: Return of the King- We snuck into it about 30 minutes into the movie, and since it was so long we had to leave with about 20 minutes left so we could catch our ride since it was passed midnight. It wasn't because we didn't like the movie, we just had to leave.

Apocalypto-We sat through about the first 10-15 minutes, but we got bored so let and I think we went to see Night at the Museum instead. And yes I like that movie. I did see Apocalypto a couple years after that and it is a good movie.

At the theatres I will sit through bad movies, because, well I already paid for it. Only at home do I stop watching movies I don't like. I feel like I might have walked out on another movie but I can't remember. lol

I managed to avoid seeing it...until the week I stayed with my parents. They had the video! I couldn't escape. It was beyond awful. I was rooting for the iceberg.

What's with all the Titanic hate! lol. I do like Titanic but it suffers from being way too long and drawn out. In comparison to the new movie The Finest Hours, which is also about a sinking ship, I think the love story draws it down. Down to the bottom of the sea! lol

That's just it...way too long. One hour into the movie, I wanted EVERYBODY to die. I aged while watching it. Afterwards, my hair and nails were noticeably longer.

I only watch films on DVD's as although film theatres say they are suitable for people with disabilities they are not, all they do is put in a wheelchair access and think it'll be alright. So I watch only DVD's, that is good as so many films have bad directors, and good directors who make good films look bad.
Spielberg managed to make War of The Worlds appear bad, admittedly he chose that dickhead actor Tom Cruise to be in it, he who makes Sponge Bob Square Pants seem like an Oscars contender for best actor.
Date Movie was bad, even when I threw the disc away it dropped to the ground, big flop that one.
I saw Star Wars when it first came out, that was good but then the all the sequels started. Some people just don't know when to stop.
Sex and the City or is it IN the city, they were just tedious films.
50 Shades of Grey just goes to prove some actors will appear in anything as long as it pays. A bit like Game of Thrones.
Man of Steel = I haven't found the words to describe the negatives of that film yet. Maybe a bit like The Dark Knight without the steroids.
Titanic has a special place it my heart, if my heart was in my bowels that is. That film kept the boring stuff in the middle to make it long enough. Even the iceberg didn't want to wait about to see the crappy ending! Guess what I just woke up, even thinking about that film made me fall asleep.

With movies getting more and more pricey even at the smaller picturehouses in some cases then I can see there being many examples where people would walk out. The more you've paid the least likely you are to leave. Anyway I have mild epilepsy which can sometimes be set off by certain things on the big screen so most the times I have left have been because of that, although most the times I do go back in after while or I just ride it out in the cinema. I did walk out of the Thin Red Line early on. I've seen it since on TV and regret it now, but at the time I was 18, and I knew going in that it was a 3 hour movie and after the first twenty minutes just didn't want to sit through the rest.

I've still never seen Titantic😀 I did buy a ticket for it, but then remembered that it was three hours long and decided to sneak into the Kevin Kline comedy Inside Out instead. I had no complaints🙂

My ex took me to see Out of Africa years ago, and it was SO BORING I wanted to cry. I left after 30 minutes. Same with Passion of the Christ...just awful. I got a refund on that one.
