I've never seen Candyman! Or It!

Wow. It was so-so.. Tim Curry was the best thing about it. Candyman is kinda a seminal movie.

I like Tim Curry. I keep having a recurring dream that he's dead. 🙁 It's so sad to see him since his stroke.

So yeah, I'll try to watch them both, on HALLOWEEN. No other day. Halloween or nothing. Halloween or go home.

IT is just a long TV movie.. It's not all that spectacular. Although it does have Seth Green in it as a little four-eyed nerd.

@Mr. Pole - No I haven't seen the Cabal cut of Nightbreed, didn't know it existed actually. Is it worth a look then?

I agree about It, the best thing about it is Tim Curry. I'm really annoyed about the guy that they are going to have playing him in the remake that is coming (if it actually really happens or not that is). Tim is Pennywise to me, thank you!. Regardless of It being crappy, I still love it. It holds a lot of sentimental value for me. I remember it so vividly from when I was a kid. Its the reason I picked up the book and fell in love with Stephen King when I was about 11 years old.

Oh, definitely watch them. Candyman is another childhood memory of mine.....I could never bring myself to say his name 5 times in the mirror 😛 Whatever you do though, don't watch the rest in the series. The second one is bearable I guess, but the third one? Yick!

The beauty of Candyman was beneath the surface it really spoke alot of racism, bigotry and the 'dangers' of gentrification. At least the third movie, as bad as it is, tried to hit on some of the same touchpoints.

True. I read the book for the first time not long ago. It was hard to wrap my head around Candyman being a skinny white guy, all I could think about was Tony Todd. I honestly don't remember the third one very well. I saw it once and all I remember is some bleached blond with big boobies running around.
