My Thoughts on Season 4

I really liked how they ended season 4 with Angel taking the deal with W&H in order to give Connor a better life; it probably was the only way for Angel to accept that deal that I would understand. For those who think it was wrong for Angel to have everyone's memories altered, don't forget that by the end of the season Connor was just a shell of a human being who was actively trying to commit suicide by having either the cops kill him or Angel, while taking out a bunch of innocent civilians as well.

Angel gave him what he always should have had; the chance for a normal life. It might've been wrong to do it without talking to everyone first but that's the world of Angel for you, full of grey 🙂

I disagree, its totally wrong for Angel to betray his friends, and nothing good came from W&H, AI paid for that deal and suffered a lot, Angel knew it was a bad idea and did it anyway. It just poor leadership on his part, Connor should have to answer for his evil deeds no matter how bad his childhood was, its Connor's fault that he got so screwed up and became Jasmine's bitch in the first place, Angel should have told him off there were other options that maybe not have been as pretty but they were there, it would have been better than betraying all his friends.

Okay, I do have an honest question. If Jasmine *really* desired to bring people together (albeit at the expense of her eating them) then *why* her plans w/ Angelus and the Beast? How was that all part of the plan? Just distraction or what? I'm just curious because we do have that philosophical argument with her after her defeat, but she did a lot of damage unleashing fire rain and zombie-creating beasts. How in the world does that contribute to her plans to manipulate Connor into ensuring her birth? I have watched S4 a couple times but I'm still confused as to how all the puzzle pieces really fit. Can someone explain to me?
