I'm 52 years old, and I admit, I never gave the TV show a chance when I was younger. While I thought the film was good, campy fun, I thought that the show was strictly serious and "just about vampires". I finally started the show several months back, and have already finish all 7 seasons of the show (I haven't tried to read the comics yet).
I was shocked by how much I've loved this show! I didn't realize that BTVS would tackle so many serious issues in a far more intelligent and sensitive way than most modern TV shows. Also, the acting on this show is amazing. Not only should SMG have won an Emmy for The Body, but her comedic skills are fabulous!
I don't know many people who watch the show, or who even would want to give the show a chance. That's why I came out here. To find fellow fans to communicate with, share thoughts and opinions on episodes, and just have some fun out here!
