I would think it would have to be the same Drusilla. Otherwise AltCordy seeking out SpikePrime for help would make no sense if it were AltDrusilla as he doesn't know her and has had no relationship with her, let alone being "his ex". What I read it as is that DrusillaPrime crossed over to the AltVerse and was reeking havoc. AltCordy found out about SpikePrime and goes to him for help.

A few days ago I had read the <Slayers> page on the audible site, but today the page is gone. I also tried with the search function, typing <Slayers>, but nothing, only other series. Anyone have news?

Oh my lord. I listened to an audio sample of it. Hell no. There is no way I could listen to that. It sounds beyond horrible! Some things are best left to a visual medium.

It is difficult to follow without subtitles (not even in English!).
Who knows if sooner or later they will insert them.
I know that some audiobooks have also a pdf-file attached with the transcription.
Meanwhile, I am curious to hear your impressions, avoiding spoiler possibly. 🙂

I listened and I'm okay with it. It's like audio dramas I've listened to in the past. More car, exercise or other background listening, for me anyway, as otherwise I have a habit of forgetting that I am listening and get distracted and start doing something else. But media forms are a personal preference thing.

If this is successful, though, I can imagine others being made. Perhaps with more of the shows' actors, and perhaps eventually something animated.
 
Just finished the first episode. I liked it for the most part. Actress for Miranda was laying it on pretty thick for my tastes.

He's just older. Emma doesn't sound exactly like Anya anymore either. It happens.

Charisma still sounds dead on, and Clem sounds pretty good too. Juliet Landau hasn't aged a single day.

I think it was more than that. There was more of a poshness. At least to me. But yeah, you could also hear his age in the voice. Clem almost seemed unrecognizable to me at first. Didn't sound like how I remember him sounding, but I think some of his voice in the show was due to make-up.
 
Feel like Angel just doesn’t exist during this story? Not mentioned once in the first episode, even though Spike is still in LA and Cordelia turns up and they are talking about Dru.(I know DB isn’t in it-but they mention Buff loads and SMG isn’t either).

Of course he exists, he's just not relevant to what is happening. They mentioned Willow and Giles are in London and Buffy is possibly with them (she's "on a different continent") so maybe he's in Europe somewhere too. Or maybe he's somewhere with his son; maybe he's a grandfather by now. It's been 12 years, there's no reason to think he's still in LA.

Spikes kind of obsessed with him. I think it’s weird there’s no reference at all. I guess Amber Benson never shared a single scene with Angel, or was on his show so she would have more interest in the latter Buffy stuff.
 
I don't think the show can work for most people, even fans, unless you can emote strongly on it. That's harder to do without faces.

As far as we know Cordelia and Anya don't even know Angel in their reality. They came looking for Spike and if Angel doesn't happen to be in LA there's no reason for Spike to bring him up.

Except you know, Angel has a longer history with Dru and he is her maker so, maybe a word or two to explain his absence might have been appropriate.
