I've been an obsessed Whedon fangirl for years and years, but I'm only just now joining the board, prompted mostly by my desperate need to discuss Buffy and Angel and Firefly and the like now that all the shows are over. I NEED MORE!

So about me. I'm Kody - I'm a girl, I'm 19 (soon to be 20), and I"m a young adult novelist living in NYC. My first book came out in September, my second will be out this September. My dream is to write tons of books and to one day write for television, too. If I could ever write for Joss TV show, I might die of happiness. Its my pipe dream. 🙂

My book is called THE DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend). It's a contemporary, darkish romantic comedy for teens. My publisher called it Juno-esque.

WillowForEver - OMG, are you a YA book fan? I'm addicted to YA novels (probably not shocking since I write them). I actually semi-blame Joss Whedon for that. When Buffy ended, I wanted to read books about badass teenage girls. LOL

Zobothehobo - WE SHALL SEE!!! What kind of TV do you like (aside from Whedonverse awesomeness, of course)?

WillowForEver - oh, where is the thread? And have you read Vampire Academy? I'm not usually into vampire YA (nothing lives up to Buffy for me) but those books are SO GREAT and have a fabulous female lead.
