New to Buffy-Boards!

Hello everyone! I've been reading this site for over a week now & I decided to finally join in on all the fun. I'm so excited to be able to share my BtVS love (or obsession, whatever!) with others. The show might have gone off the air 5 years ago, but it is still very much alive -- as it's fans are still talking about the show to this very day!

I'm 23 years old, entered the "real world" back in January '08, and I've recently re-discovered my love for BtVS. I was an avid fan back in middle school and the early part of high school. Once junior & senior year of high school hit, though, I was definitely off track & did not catch every single episode like I used to. I can't believe I've gone on this long without a Buffy fix!

I am very familiar with Seasons 5-7 (I know the major episodes like The Body, Once More With Feeling, Chosen, etc, but everything else is kind of cloudy), but I know Seasons 1-4 very well. So, you will probably only see me posting on those Seasons, at least until I've gotten back on track & have seen EVERYTHING again. I'm dying to get the Chosen Collection, so hopefully that will be very soon!

I've also gotten into Angel & have been trying to keep track by watching online episodes of BtVS Season 4 & Angel Season 1 alternately. I like to keep track of the crossovers. 😉

Anyways, this became more long-winded than I originally intended. Just wanted to give you guys a good sense of who/where I am in terms of being a fan. 🙂

P.S. I'm on the Bangel ship. 😉

Hmm, I re-read my first post & I think it was a little confusing... at least the part about the seasons I'm familiar with. Ok, let's start over just so there's no confusion.

I have seen the whole series, however I am much more familiar with the earlier seasons than the later seasons. Meaning, I've seen Seasons 1-4 at least twice (haha at the very least!). As for Seasons 5-7, things are a bit muddy because I either missed an episode or two when they showed on the air, or I've only seen it once & it has escaped my memory. However when I do read posts about Seasons 5-7, it jogs my memory and I'm like, "Oh yah! That happened!"

Seasons 5-7 aired when I was in high school... and so you know how involving that can be. I even had my own Bangel experience which took up most of my time -- albeit did not involve vampires & murder -- but still, when you're that young, first love can mean everything, therefore I did not focus on Buffy (or school) as much as I should have. Haha.

I feel like I've told my whole life story. Bored yet? 😛

Anyways, this fact has just confirmed the fact that I NEED to get the Chosen Collection ASAP. Anyone have it? Anyone know where I can get it at a good price? 🙂

Ok, I think I need a little help now. Can´t I be both Cangel and Spuffy? I understand why you can´t be both Bangel and Cangel but is the other also a problem? Because if we´re just talking favourite relationship it´s Wlillow and Tara (still don´t know if there´s a "name" for it) by miles followed by Fresley.

Hi and welcome to the boards - good introduction too. Chosen collection is an excellent investment and one you'll never regret. Amazon sometimes has good deals but also you could lay-buy at your local department stores. Cos, those later seasons - well worth getting real familiar with.
