Hello - new here! I started watching Buffy in late November 2007 when I borrowed all 7 seasons (and all 5 seasons of Angel) from some friends. I currently am just two episodes away from the series finale of Angel. I really loved both series.

I have a few questions but will find the appropriate place to post them on this forum.

Thanks, Kean! I've got a dumb question... what is the "Merrick" in reference to? Lots of people seem to have that word listed to the left. I've got a strong feeling it doesn't refer to Merrick, Long Island! ;-)

Merrick is were super cool and super sexy people like myself meet and discuss how fantastic we are.

Its a house we have on the boards, were members can chat. There are a couple different ones.

Sadly no, it does not refer to Merrick, Long sland😉...Like Dancing Man said it refers to one of the four houses we have here at BB. It's basically based on the idea from Harry Potter. There are four n total...Merrick, Drogyn, Raiden and Vahla Ha'nesh. These house essentially work as your 'Home' here at BB. We have interhouse competitions and really fun things like that. If you want to be given a house you need to get yourself to the The Sorting Tome - Page 34 - Buffy-Boards
and asked to be sorted.

Do any of the houses correalate to the Hogwarts ones (i.e. the most villainous one is Slytherin, etc.?)

Well personally I always kinda view Merrick as Gryfindor but then again my opinion is EXTREMELY biased😉 but as a rule no the houses don't really align with the Hogwarths Dorms.
