Everyone will eventually die but with the way Nick is going about things, it's probably going to happen sooner rather than later (and when it does, I won't be very surprised 🙁)

If he were to have a stable support system, he would actually be improving rather than getting arrested over and over again...

I really hope he gets his stuff together soon because if he doesn't, it will be fatal.

It is sad to hear news like that. I saw it on FB and came here because I was certain people would be talking about it. Nicholas seems to have issues that are hard to fix. I just hope his girlfriend is ok and that all of this ends up giving him a lesson so he finally moves forward.

I know actors aren't the characters they play, but you still have to touch something special inside yourself when you play a character like Xander, who showed incredible humanity and courage on multiple occasions. I'm sure NB has that inside himself too.

I can believe that. People really are stronger than they give themselves credit for. Unfortunately, though, with addiction and depression it makes it really hard to see yourself in a positive light [yes, I'm well aware I'm stating the obvious here 😛]. I've battled depression and even though it wasn't severe, it was still a rough time for me.

I wish his handlers/family/friends would stage an intervention. Or maybe they have and he wouldn't have any of it.

As a Buffy fan, this is really heartbreaking. 🙁

This really is turning into one of the biggest tradgies of our time. Just too depressing and like you guys I fear the worse. He can still turn it around, and fingers crossed has the right people around him to help, but the longer this sort of thing goes on, the harder it is. I feel terrible for his girlfriend.

There's really no need to jump the gun, you guys. I'm not saying he doesn't have problems, but it doesn't have to turn into a tragedy (other than a personal one for him). Plenty of addicts live long, if troubled, lives.
