Official Discussion of 7.10 "Bring On The Night" (UPN-US)

"Giles" might have let them in on the lesbian news. And when she said "Don't hog the sheets" so was obviously trying to get HERSELF in Willow's bed, and she gave Willow a "look" and all.

as for the ages, yeah, they all look older than Dawn, but aren't SITs supposed to be younger than 18? or something like that? because they're supposed to go through that annoying "training without powers thing" that Buffy went through and Wesley on Angel was talking about in thr ep of Angel when they lost their memories.

True, the SITs are about Dawn's age or somewhat near. Kennedy may be older. She better be if she's going to be with Willow. But for the most part, SITs are supposed to be young like Dawn. There's that whole saying that most slayers do not live past their 17th or 18th birthday right?

Aah what can you ask from her anyway? Kennedy is just looking for some action and go out with a big bang yeaaah? 😀

Damned holiday programming.. I forgot to tape BOTN on Tuesday, and the new episodes are usually repeated in Canada on YTV Saturdays at 9.. but nooooo this week is holiday programming! Argh! However, my guess is that they'll play it next week.. but they'd better, because I want to tape it!

Great episode! I loved it, but found one thing rather strange. When Buffy went out to look for Annabelle, why didn't she bring a single weapon? She already knew that the Ubervamp cannot be killed with a stake, so she should have brought at least an axe or a sword.
Has anybody got a good theory about this "mistake"?

Why would she waste time digging out a weapon suitable enough and discussing it with the scoobies (They always do that) When Annabelle ran away and is in major danger? 😛

Does that answer it? 😉

Sure does for me, I loved the episode, though I probably missed some stuff, because I only paid attention to Kennedy! I like her ... I love her ... the whole "who-sleeps-where"-scene was so cool, I could so see her with Willow.

the episode was really great exept the Sits for te most part.

their accents are horrid, we have somone who clearly sounds american the one trying to be all Essex-y and the otherone

and yeah english people really go round saying "Trash"

gotta be the worst brits since those guys in the warehouse in the season 4 ep where buffy is faith going to the watchers...

oh well, maybe their all get dead or loose their voices...

somone send them all to James Masters accent school of englishtalkingness 😛

but other then that it was cool 🙂

Giles, hmmm it seems to be they WANT us to think he's the first evil which makes me think he's not!

since when does Joss make us think whats coming??

Wood does seem more like a guardian then a baddie.

as for joyce, for the most part she wasnt trying to through buffy of course like the first did with Angel in Amends, Joyce already came back another way so i dont think its her either

maybe the first good??

or somthing....

No, it doesn't! they all know the Ubervamp is out there to kill them and all she had to do was grab an axe. No need to discuss strategy, when at times like these you don't run out without suitable weapons. Just as stupid as Annabelle.......

I think Annabelle was being controlled by the First to lure Buffy out into the open so the Turok-Han could beat her up some more and weaken her. Also, Buffy wasn't out there to kill it, but to just rescue Annabelle. She knows she can't kill it by herself. That's why she had the SITs get weapons earlier in the ep.

Good point, maybe there's a mole, but why would the First let Ooby kill off his/her agents. I mean he/she could have let her live and do more inside damage!

i just can't wait til January to see how the plot thickens even more... on top of that it's nice that you can watch season 3 on DVD Jan. 7th!!! Getting it the DAY it comes out!!! This season so far has been so great.
I really don't think Dawn should be the next slayer and I really with it were Faith... But I'm not counting on it.

Here's a thought:

When Giles first brings the remaining SITs to Buffy's house and explains that part of the First Evil's plan is to destroy the line of the Slayers, Buffy says something like "They're killing off all the SITS, then they'll come for me, then they'll come for Faith."

Faith is in jail in Los Angeles. What if the Beast on Angel is an agent of the First Evil, like the Ubervamp on Buffy, only his primary mission is to kill Faith (eventually), while the Ubervamp's is to kill Buffy and the remaining SITs (eventually)?

As for Spike and the "drowning", it can't be pleasant to have water forced up your nose and down your throat, even if you don't breathe. (Still weak, I agree.)

We should stop discussing Spike's drowning, because we all agree it was a mistake, they should have used the holy water.

the Beast, I know why it's here, you might be right, but "I'll never tell!"

I dont 😛 And I hope it stays that way! 😀
By the way, The First Evil = Santa Clause ::snow2:: Think about it 😉

I know tons of others know why it's here, I was merely indicating that if you want to find out, you could ask it! (PM)

Wow - what an ep. Sometimes I get sorta frustrated b/c there are times when Buffy seems totally weaker. I mean she was able to defend herself better against a god (although she couldn't defeat her) than this ubervamp. Maybe not but just seems like it. I'm really confused about the whole Joyce thing - is she the first as well or something else? And I never even once thought/noticed anything that would have hinted to me that Giles could be the first until you guys all mentioned it! I went and re-watched and yep - he doesn't touch anyone...very odd. And I was kinda wondering why he wasn't at that hole helping Buffy out when she was getting away from the ubervamp.

And I know this isn't ever going to happen and Angel & BtVS are to be thought of as separate shows BUT...I always wonder why the Sunnydale gang doesn't ever call their 'friends' in LA. It's like they have all these other resources that they could consult but don't. I mean Wesley is pretty darn smart and I'm sure he could find info on the first. But I know that each group has their own problems where they are so I guess it wouldn't work anyway. Just a thought.
