OMFG! that was one of the best Buffy epis ever! i couldnt belive the stunning corriography in Buffy Vs. Caleb... it was s smart move of Buffys to be all evasive against him. the Buffy and Spike monents was very touching! when they snuggled up on the bed together awwww. Giles with a whip! that is something to see! lol. also alot of sex! Faith and Wood, Willow and Kennedy, Anya and Xander, on the kitchen floor, very funny! but buffy and spike was just huging...i thought that was apropriot! well faith has them in a tricky situation! i feel Buffy would have been more corsious, when it came to opening that BIG box cramed full of explosives. Buffys the natural leader, thats the way it should be!
 
I agree with you -- brilliant ep!! Especially liked Buffy & Spike. Spike's speech to Buffy, once he figured out what he was going to say, was lovely!!

However, on the downside, not loving the idea of a swack of people being blown to Kingdom Come . . .
 
lol, yet another cliff hanger leaving us with the thought...how the hell are they going to survive that!?!? Andrew was funny yet agen! when Glies slit the bringers throat whilst magicaly linked to Andrew set him off on one of his moans and then he comented that he needs a throat losenger! very funny!
 
Brilliant! I love Spike so much, he almost made me feel a little sorry for Buffy.

The Buffy vs. Caleb choreography was indeed stunning, although I think they should have had Caleb hit her at least once. I didn't really like Faith, first of, she did the exact same thing as Buffy. And second of all, how dare she talk to Kennedy like that!!!

I liked all the pre-apocalyps sex!

Wood/Faith seems like a good and possible couple. And the Kennedy/Willow action ... Encore! encore! encore! ... Did anybody else notice Kennedy/Iyari's tonguepiercing!?!?!?
 
yes! i did as a matter of fact, when she was licking willows neck. is it me or was the a new thing with kennedy? i never noticed that before?
 
lol, but you can get glimpses of her tounge when she spoken before, you would see it. as my friends have it dont and they are pretty hard not to notice. or you could be right a classic case of out of sight out of mind!?
 
Yes, absolutely amazing episode.

Thought the Matrix style move at the beginning of Buffy's fight was a bit cheesy though.

The First's embarassment at Calebs fighting was funny. Also funny to see Spike indulging Andrew and sort of playing eye-spy with him.

I'm not entirely sure Buffy would have been any more cautious than Faith at the end of the episode, and I'm not sure any of the gang would have been able to tell it was a bomb. I'm upset that Kennedy and Amanda were in the room with Faith. If all of them die I'm gonna be pissed off. I want Kennedy or Amanda for the next slayer.

Nice to see Buffy acknowledging her distancing herself from her friends. At last she can get on with it.
 
yes, i was proud of buffy when she went to face Caleb and found the weapon, by the looks of it. the look on her face when she found the ax was something i hadnt seen in a wile.
 
Loved this episdoe! Kennedy in the begginning was well bitcher then Buffy was I wouldnt have minded if she had died, the spuffy part was borning but I actually liked spike in this ep and omg how dare the scoobies try to cover up there kicking buffy out, the sex thing I didnt care about but talk about hot all the way around, the part after Spuffy was just amazing and god how I love how the firsts looks as Buffy and how it acts to why cant buffy act like that anymore and the bomb was just wow and buffys little thing with Caleb that was so funny dodging his every move she finally learned that she didnt have to fight to solve something which im happy about and the weapon wow that was just beautiful, and omg did u see the preview for next week its going to be great and Angel!!!! AHHHHHH B/Aness!!!!!!!!!!
 
Loved the episode and the whole spike and buffy cuddling it was like so awwwww reminded me of buffy and angel deffinatly can't wait till next week with sexy and godly Angel!!!!!!
 
that was a really good episode. the fight between caleb & buffy was awesome....it reminded me of the Matrix in a way (which, by the way, is coming to theatres next Thursday 😉 ). very cool though. the speech spike gave buffy about her was very cute...i wish someone could say that to me! hehehehe....but yeah, the entire episode was really cool. i think this was one of my favourite eps this entire season....oooh, and i like the choice of music too 🙂 as for the final scene, with the weapon....hehehe, when buffy was smiling, i was like "don't blame you..." it was pretty 🙂
 
this was a pretty cool episode......i loved how the first acted when buffy came along.....when talkin to caleb.......cool how she just slipped into the hole.....damn...at the end its just like 'tick' 'tick' 'tick'....cant wait for next episode.....angel will look good gettin back to his roots......ok can someone else PLEASE agree with me....when ALL the play is michele branchs 'goodbye to you'.......i get so sad!! just tell them to STOP!!! lol.....its sooo sad!! also anyone know what song was playing during the sex scenes....and buffy/spike snuggle?????
 
Man... that was one of the better eps...

But, I'm wondering if everyone is reanalyzing their decisions to nominate Faith leader. She behaved exactly the way Buffy did, telling them she was calling the shots and they had to fall in line behind her.
Yet, I do commend her for putting Kennedy in her place. It's about time.

Okay... I'd way speaking of being reckless, attacking the bringer. What's to say that there could've been forty Bringers at that moment. Or what's to say that they wouldn't follow the Scoobs back into the SUMMER house to retrieve their fallen soldier. Seems pretty risky to me. Makes me feel like the others are really big hypocrit traitors. (As Spike said)

Spike's speech to the group in the kitchen was great! I loved it. And who-hoo... he should've pounded on Faith more. Oh, and why did they feel it necessary to lie to Spike? If they thought they were so right in their decision to elect a new leader to the war, why is it important to lie about to Spike? They don't care what Spike thinks, so why lie?

Mayor=spookiness. You could see Faith somewhat cracking
(And with the appearance of The First as Mayor Wilkins and Woods statement about how Firstie attacks your soft spot.. it would then make perfect sense to assume that Joyce was indeed the First)

Spike and Buffy! How romantic. Spike's speech to her was good... loved her tears. I think they both realized that they do love each other, but are not sure about their romantic future, just the future of the world. THey are going to win.

Everyody else doin it... get your groove on pre-apocolypse "needing to feel"

And... I wonder if anyone is going to die when that bomb is going to go off. And if they do, somebody should ask Faith how safe the SIT's were with her then as she has said to Buffy. Wonder how that'll make her feel. But seriously, who could survive that... they were so close to it... Faith should die because she is so close to it, even if she is a slayer. makes you wonder.
(Oh, and does it seem that Faith did in fact lead them into a trap? I don't remember how she even got the information to go in the tunnell... but I think it was a trap, especially with the whole fricking box of dynamite and all.)

It's about time Buffy outsmarted Caleb. I think since she came to terms with the fact that maybe she was avoiding everyone and is dealing with all that 'emotion', she was ready to fight him. And that crazy sword thing... oh, yeah. Hopefully she does a lot of damage with that!

I'm so excited! Everyone is realzing their mistakes and coming to term with themselves and in the end, they are going to win.
 
That was a kick ass episode. I loved the Matrix style moves that Buffy pulled out on Caleb. I can't believe that Faith talked down to Kennedy like she did. I look forward to seeing Buffy wielding that mutha of a scythe!

Andrew was funny as always. Xander looks like a pirate now. Anya was hillarious. "If we're not having sex, then no one else should be getting off." Classic. I liked how Spike punched Faith. It was about time.

OMG! Kennedy and Willow, whoa! That tongue piercing is ~HOT~! I think that I have to talk a cold shower after that episode! Damn, Joss! Please, let the next Buffy movie be rated 'R', please? As, it was I almost lost it all over the TV. Somebody, please tell me that you have a screencap of Willow and Kennedy?::drool::
 
That was incredible. Very possibly my favorite episode of the season. It was just so... touching! 😛 So here's some random thoughts:

-I was surprised that Faith let the First get to her so easily. Luckily it doesn't seem like she's gonna act on any of it.
-Of course everything now is chaos without the Buffster! Even the cinematography was all jumpy (that was intentional, right?) I'm glad that Faith and the group (well, maybe not Rona, evil *****) are viewing this as letting Buffy cool off and clear her head as opposed to them simply being really glad she's gone with the "she sucks at being a leader and with her we'll lose" attitude. Me much happier now 🙂
-I'm sorta sad that Spike and Faith had to have that fight... it was inevitable, but they'd been getting along so well! 😉
-Faith and Wood? Interesting... it was totally a one-night, tension release deal though because there wasn't really any passion between them, I felt.
-Speaking of, I still sense something going on between Buffy and Faith... what's up with them sharing guys? Faith's been close (pysically and/or emotionally) to Xander, Spike, Wood, Angel, Riley... weird.
-Speaking of again, the little everyone's-having-sex-but-Giles-and-Dawn (oh god...) scene was really cute... anyone have any info about the song that was playing by the way? But yeah, so Xander/Anya was cute & funny... god knows the two of them will NEVER have final sex! lol. Willow and Kennedy was surprisingly passionate (thanks, UPN!)... although I started to get teary-eyed from missing Tara so much. It's not like I hate Kennedy, but there's still such a hole there 🙁
-Buffy and Spike. One of the cutest, most touching scenes I've ever seen on the show. It was adorable. Seeing Buffy so vulnerable like that just tears my heart out... god I'm gonna miss that girl. 🙁 She's such my weakness. But anyway, Spike's love was so genuine... I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but it was even better than a sex scene. I think Buffy finally appreciates him now. 🙂
-I still don't really get why and where Faith was leading the group to? Wazzup with that?
-I had a little (no, a lot actually) trouble seeing what was happening down there when there were only a few flashlights during that whole scene... it was especially hard to see what was going on when they were fighting.
-Buffy totally rocked in her scene with Caleb. He may have strength, but agility and speed is something enturely different! I think it's fair to say that B's back in the game! (I agree with whoever was talking about the good choreography in this scene.)
-Man, I hate cliffhangers!!! That bomb totally surprised me. And judging by the previews for next week, it seems to be pretty fatal! Buffy getting the new superweapon was cool though... way cooler looking than Olaf's hammer! 😉 I didn't get a real good look, but was it a reddish, see-through axe? strangeness.
-...How convenient that Faith told Giles, Wood, Willow, etc to stay at home while the rest go to get blown up... looks like her Slayer intuition is working after all *snicker*
-I loved the ep, but I'm still feeling a lack of plot development!! I mean, it's nice she's got the weapon and all, but there are only 2 left to resolve this whole thing!

But anyways, AWESOME episode!!! Can't wait for the final two... speaking of, the preview showed Angel but I thought he wasn't coming until the last episode? Well whatever. Big thumbs-up on tonight, Joss (and writer... and cast...)!! 😀

EDIT TO ADD:
I almost forgot! Buffy's ending was so kick-ass. Thank god for that, because it was starting to remind me a bit of season six... I mean, I love S6, but Buffy needs to go out on top! She's pulled herself together and is ready for an awesome ending. Even the First is getting worried now 🙂 While I absolutely LOVE teary-eyed Buffy, just seeing that smile when she found the new weapon at the end was so refreshing and empowering... she's so ready to kick some ass... good for her!!! 😀
 
yeah it was AWESOME. i don't get to see the previews for the next epps until they put it up on buffy.com since i live in canada.. but pleeeeease don't kill of faith!!!! aaah!

the axe was awesome, but it was buried in some black thing.. like a sword-in-the-stone deal.

I CANT WAIT for the next epp!! one of the bext episodes this season.. that buffy/spike i love you scene was so touching.. i almost cried.
