Alrighty! I think it's time for a new poll. Your welcome, your welcome. 😛

My favorite is, and always will be S4. Sure, it sucks that Cordelia isn't really a part of it, but Fred is! And so is Gunn, Wes, Angel, Lorne, Connor, Gwen, and Jasmine. Idk, I just love this season. It's also the first season I ever watched of Angel.

4 > 5 > 3 > 2 > 1
It's really hard to choose these... I think 1 is the obvious bottom, and 4 is the obvious top (lol), but 5, 3, and 2 are so hard to choose from... I wasn't the biggest fan of Darla's storyline, but I LOVED Pylea and the stand-alones (ie: Are You Now... [it grew on me], Guise, Shroud of Rahmon, Dead End). S3 is probably the most gripping, never-wanna-put-down season of all the Whedonverse, but it is just so damn depressing! There are really no fun(ny) epiasodes throughout the whole season... (ps, Waiting in the Wings is a huge plus for this season 🙂 ) And S5 is just... S5. Everyone knows the faults and the merits of S5. However, I'm looking through the S5 episodes and I just get this feeling... like I'm so happy. 🙂 I just see these episodes that I truly love and... Well I think my choices were good 🙂 And now I think I've wrote entirely too much.
 
I like Angel the series well enough but it doesn't top Buffy for me... and I've only seen it through the once so deciding an order of seasons was a little difficult.

But I do know that season two is my favourite - I enjoyed the Darla storyline, Angel going bad and the Pylea finale was unusual but in a good way.

I'd probably list season five next, it has Spike. 😀

Then, uh... four, three and one could be interchanged, I guess. I'm not really the biggest Angel fan, honestly.
 
This is so much harder for me than the Buffy poll. With Buffy it's an easy toss up between 3 and 5 for the top place. Right now S3 is my favourite, but when I watch S5, I start thinking that's my favourite.

With Angel, it's either 5, 3 or even 2. I think I'll have to go with S5. It was just a whole lot of fun, with a little bit of crying thrown in there.
 
i haven't seen season five yet, but actually my favorite is season 1 : there is Doyle, and there is still a little hope.
in the other seasons i saw, i got the feeling that the only goal of the serie was: look at the new horrible thing that's happening to them! how will they cope and who'll betray!
the more it goes, the more heartbroken i feel for the charcters, so i'm quite afraid of season 5

Don't worry. S5 is the fun one :)
It's torn between S5 and S4. I am one of people who don't hate S4. 😀 But I vote S5 because I can watch any episodes over and over again. S4 has great action scenes and there's Faith, Gwen and Willow(Who cares about Connelia. That's not Cordy even it's icky. 😛). But from Inside Out to Shiny Happy People are the most boring Whedonverse episodes.

Anyway, I don't know why I like S3 the least. I love Darla and Cangel arcs, but S1 and S2 are just better.

It's so hard to put Ats seasons in order. It's so much easier for Buffy seasons. 😀

I think I like 3 the best, even though there's a lot wrong with it. I loved Cordy getting demonized but not how they developed that - weird glowy powers, higher being stuff. The strong points for me Cangel, Connor, Darla and Holtz.
Season 2 would be next. Dru, Darla, Lindsey, Lilah and the group breaks apart, all good stuff. Weak points for me, I get a bit tired of " Dark Angel ", just see a therapist buddy.
Season 1 comes third. The lack of a real story arc lets it down, but all the characters are great. Add in some Buffy, Spike, Faith and Oz, that's just icing. 😀
Season 4. I kinda hate this season but it's the most epic Angel has ever been, feels like a movie. Rain of fire, Sun blocked out, The beast, Angelus, Faith breaks out of prison. Weak points. Cordy is bad, and some maggot face demon is making her get groiny with the very annoying Connor. Bad Cordy was lame and Charisma looks pissed off the whole time.
Season 5 comes last. Nice to see Lindsey back, and You're Welcome is great stuff, but that's about it for me. I missed Cordy, Wolfram and Hart didn't work for me, Illyria either. Angel wasn't likable at all. Yeah, not the best Angel's ever been.
 
One of the problems with Angel is that it seemed like a new show every season. So much of the 'feel' of the show changed regularly. I must say that overall I like S5 the most. Spike is fantastic on AtS.
 
I love every season of Angel. It never really disappointed me although it was a little hard to watch "dark Angel" during season 2. I voted for season 1. It is fresh, it shows how Angel becomes a champion. I love the AI office, I love Doyle,I certainly like dorky Wes.I like how Cordy becomes a hero.

I adore IWRY, In the Dark, City of, Five by Five/Sanctuary, To shansu in L.A, Somnabulist.

I also really like season 5, not just because Spike adds some humour, but also because we see how Angel and his team act in a totally new environment, plus it has great episodes, "you're welcome", a great season finale, Illyria and nice plot.

If I had to put all season in order from my most favourite to the least favourite(not worse...cause I don't think ANgel has any bad seasons) it would be : 1>5>3>4>2.

S2 has great episodes, but I just don't like Angel sooo dark and his breaking up with AI. Pylea episodes rock! S3 has a VERY interesting script. Many things you could never foresee! I even like season 4, mainly because of Faith and Angelus, to be honest!:biggrin3:

Season 4 without a doubt. First season of Angel that I watched like 4-5 episodes a day, lol! It was really engaging and had lots of 'OMG WHAT?' moments.

Too bad the last few episodes were a let down after all the awesome middle of the season eps.
 
Overall favorite I never ever get tired of season 2. I think it was fantastic.
That said I really like all seasons almost equally. But 2 and maybe 5 are at least leaders of the pack
 
I picked three. My order of would go: 3 > 2 > 5 > 4 > 1. I think I just liked the idea of Angel's past literally coming back to haunt him. heh
 
I voted Season 5 🙂

In terms of good/bad episodes, I enjoyed every single episode except two or three of them, whereas other seasons there's a good amount of eps I find really boring.

My order would be: 5. 4. 1. 3. 2.
 
Season 1 is full of classics. Doyle, funny Wesley, still semi-shallow Cordy. I love it all.

I need to give this series another watchin... it's been a while. I watch S1 on a very regular basis though.

And in defense of S4, there are some truly kickass moments. I'm not particularly a Connor fan, nor am I a Connor+Cordy fan. But the big bads were excellent between the Beast and the ambiguity of Jasmine is amazing. I remember being blown away by it... what an incredibly deep twist.

P.S: season 5 would probably be my second favorite, though. It's unfortunate it had to end, because it was such a strong season. I think the show only would have gotten better. But oh well... in all fairness, as far as series finales go, S5 is a great way to go. And I can say with the utmost confidense that I loved Angel's finale more than I did Buffy's.

Honestly, I can't pick. I love them all for a wide array of reasons. But, in the end, I chose S4... But they're all too amazing for words. 😀
 
Season 5 for me. Spike really livened up the show and I loooove Illyria. In fact I think Angel just got progressively better as it went on, as my order would be something like 5>4>3>2>1.

I don't think AS5 is my favorite season or especially Buffy-ish. What makes it stand out to me is the special chemistry between Boreanaz/Marsters Angel/Spike. Surprisingly Boreanaz says he does not socialize with Marsters at all in real life, but the two just played so well off of each other, like he did with Christian Kane & Glenn Quinn (who were Boreanaz' real life friends).

I'm one of the few that loves AS1. I loved every episode, but I thought the S1 cast & guest stars were the strongest.

I think I completely agree. I love AS1 also, and I have a genuine good time watching it in my run-throughs, but it just doesn't hold weight to the other season-long story arcs imo. I like AS1 for the same reasons as I like BS1. And what's funny is that both of my favorite episodes from each series are from S1: The Pack and Somnambulist. 🙂

And also, I think sometimes it is easier to act together if you don't hang out all the time. Because, that way you don't ever just see your friend standing there.

My favorite season is season 2, I love Darla, Drusilla, Wesley/Gunn/Cordelia friendship, and I love how Fred comes in at the end.

My favorite seasons of Angel goes in order her:
Season 2
Season 3
Season 1
Season 5 (My 2nd least favorite)
Season 4 (My least favorite season of Angel)
