Okay so fess up... Who cried?

I didn't cry until about the 7th time I watched the episode. All the times before that I just kept thinking "christ, this is a shitty ending!" Now I appreciate it a bit more...

I have never cried during Buffy as much as I did at the end of Becoming II. Although Innocence was close. I was more angry though, for that.

As for Chosen, I did cry. Especially when I found out Anya died. Then again, I cry easily. I spent most of Return of the King in tears. 😉 I cried my eyes out at the end of S2 of the new Dr.Who (I'm a Rose/Dr shipper, and I don't care how wrong that makes me). So, as for me and crying, it comes easily... but it was a good ending, horribly sad, and I spent more time crying about Angel leaving after the cookie dough comment then probably anything else. I guess that shows where my loyalties lie. I should watch it again though, and see if I cry again...

Omg i just realised how often i actually cry during this episode!!

I cry at the incredibly corny but still brilliant part when girls all over the world are called. I cry when Anya dies...didn't see that one coming really. I cry at the spuffy bit when buffy says she loves him (at last!!) and spike says, "No you don't..but thanks for saying it." The most embarrising one has to be when i cry at the very end...basically because it was the very end!!!

Incase you havn't noticed i cry whilst watching buffy alot =] lol but the episode i cry at most is either..seeing red/villians , the body or Chosen and the Gift.

It's funny...I am not usually an emotional girl, but nothing tugs at my heart strings like Buffy and the gang. I feel like a loser because no matter how many times I watch season 7 (and 5 actually) I get all choked up. Bawled like a baby the first time...but it still really grabs me. The way Buffy and Spike look at eachother in the end....ah!!!

Yeah, I've never felt such a personal connection to TV characters as I did to the Buffy gang.
I wish I could have cried at Anya's death...but like Tara they just cast her off like a piece of spoiled deli meat and gave the audience no time to mourn her. I dunno, I guess for a death to get me it has to have some build-up...but not to the point of being insanely boring like a certain death in Angel season 5.

I cry everytime I watch "Chosen". One of the worst crying moments for me was when Anya got killed, and then when the Potentials were standing up as they got their power. I also cried a little during the fight scene as I watched some of them die... It was kinda sad. 🙁

Now I may have to go watch "Chosen" today. 🙂

I always cry during that cheesy scene when all the potenial girls all over the world are recognizing their slayer power and standing up...and I always cry when Spike dies and Buffy says "I love you."

But because she means it, not because she doesn't 🙂

Me too 🙁 Those were the moments I had to cry too

I rewatched Chosen the other day, and I teared up a little bit when the potentials got their power, when Buffy told off the First and then stood up and took out three uber vamps, and then at the very end, with that little smile. No real sobbing or anything, but there were some tears in my eyes. In general, though, that whole episode makes me think, "Wow... these people are my heroes!" I really love and admire each and every one of them in this episode. Ardently, even. Haha.

(What can I say? Sometimes, Darcy says it best!)

I watched "Chosen" last night and cried again... Anya's death always gets me, but also the Spike/Buffy exchange right before she runs out...

Every time I watch it I cry. I cried the first time and every single times after that. It kind of sucked though cause I new that Spike was on Angel when I watch episode 7.22 so i cried but not has much as i would have if I didn't know. I also cried when I saw Willow cause I really related to her and the way she finally deals with her magik was really important to me so I was just so happy to see it. And of course Anya dying was really hard espacially the fact that it happened so fast that we didn't see it coming so it was kind of shoking. Oh, and i also cried when Buffy, Xander, Willow and Giles said there good bye while going into the fight because it meant that even though they went through hell and behond, they were still the original four, the ones that started it all.

now just remenbering those momments almost make me cry. I'm such a baby I know but who cares

i teared up at the buffy/spike hands-on-fire-scene because i am such a huge spuffy fan, but i didn't actually cry. and during the rest of the episode, i was mostly in shock haha. i can remember crying the most when oz left willow (both times, "wild at heart" and "new moon rising," but mostly the second time) and the spike scenes when he comes back with a soul, especially the one with spike and buffy in the church at the end of "from beneath you it devours."

omg oz/willow.. when she says "don't you love me?" aaah i cry.
lol you guys..

I think one of the biggest reasons I cried too was because of how empty I felt now that my favorite show, that I had watched without fail every week was really over. It was at that moment I sympathized with my mother when Touched By An Angel ended and she blubbered like a baby... haha.

Oh jeah and when Spike and Anya died 🙁 And Xander's reaction. When he was screaming for her and said: That's my girl, always doing stupid things or something like that

I teared up a little when Buffy, Xander, Willow and Giles were in the hall of the school, realizing that they are the four original core of the Scoobies, ready to save the world again. I cried again at the end after they escaped and got out of the bus - Xander and Willow were holding each other, best friends forever, and all the memories of Xander and Willow for all seven seasons came to visit me.

Oddly enough, I didn't.

I first saw Chosen this past summer. I had S7 on in the midst of all my packing, etc, to move. One of my friends was over at the time..she had never watched Buffy, so I spent a lot of "Chosen" explaining things to her. On top of that, I didn't even realize that I was watching the last episode!! I was only half-watching most of the time because of the packing, and I was just overall distracted...when it ended my friend asked if that was the last episode. I said, "Umm....I don't think so..." and then I checked. And so all of these things combined made it so I didn't cry.

felt a lot of sadness but i was so dissapointed with season 7 that i didnt shed any, i cried at the gift though that had me in serious tears

Why cry? Anya? Death was her gift as well, and her transformation was complete. So rejoice. Ditto for Spike, except, for "her", substitute "his". And for the record, Spike isn't the first soul to say, No you don't, but thanks for saying it.

My emotions during Chosen wasn't so much sadness, but anger. For some reason it pissed me off to no end that Spike died. I mean now I can understand it but back then, I thought they were going the artsy route and killing off a main and much loved character. That was before I had the Internet and known he was going to Angel. Anya, never really bothered me. Looking back, I expected it. During Selfless from D'Hoffryn's speech to her speech at the end, I knew it was coming. I understand the importance of it now, but back then I was yelling and cursing at the tv. 😀
