Okay so fess up... Who cried?

I watched the series all over the place so Chosen wasn't the last on I watched. I creid over the deaths, I already knew Spike came back when I watched it so that didn't make me cry so much. But Anya, poor Anya, we got so little time to mourn for her. I do cry sooner and more every time I waatch the gift though.

I got a little teary at the end of Chosen, mostly because BtVS was over. I love the end with Buffy smiling, made me teary with happiness.

I cried quite a bit at the end of Becoming (part 2), and a little during The Body and The Gift.

I cried, but I think it was more because it was the end of an era! When the final battle begins, I felt, almost pride! lol. One of the most amazing scenes in the whole series. I didn't see Anya and that made me really sad especially with 'that's my girl - always doing the stupid thing'

I cried the second Buffy said "I love you". The way she said it was like she was confessing almost which made it that much more real. I get (at least with my reasoning) why Spike said what he said but it still makes me want to throw things. It would have been so nice to hear them say that to each other at the same time just once. Though the look in his eyes is so happy, so bittersweet that he may as well have been saying it back. I cried after Anya died too once the shock left and it was renewed when Andrew used his power for storytelling one more time to give it meaning to Xander.

And what Spuffy doesn't love that the last word Buffy says on the show is "Spike"?

I didn't cry, but I remember watching the promos for the final few episodes and getting chills seeing them. Also I loved the score from Chosen. Very well done. They only thing that ruined it a little was the announcement the WB made concerning one of the characters and ANGEL.

Also, Anya overcoming her fear of the "Bunnies... floppy, hoppy, bunnies!" and then raising her sword with confidence was great.

I cried...and I never cry at TV! The end of an era, the end of my favourite series, and the death of my favourite character, Spike? I did go to my room before I cried, though, not wanting my family to see. The whole pride thing still gets me 😛

I cried... 😉 I always cry on Buffy. I cried on few episodes (it was for example Touched, Killer in me, Bring on the Night...) and of course at the end, in Chosen, 'cause it was the last episodes and my favourite (love) TV series ended and never come back. And I know it. And then I was really sad 'cause I miss Buffy a lot. 🙁 I miss it all time 🙁

I cried. I'm not afraid to admit it! 😉 I think I cried more though during The Gift and The Body. Those eps always get to me.

I rewatched Chosen today and bawled like a baby. I was in the mood to cry anyway, and watching that didn't help. LOL

I cried my eyes out particularly at three moments of chosen:

1. when Anya was killed :bawling:
2. when spike died, speacially coz even though Buffy tried and sound convincing when muttering that she loves him, we all knew he didn't buy it :bawling:
and 3. when I realized I wasn't going to see Willow anymore :bawling: LOL!

oh i creid really bad, everytime i watch it i still cry. i was kinda heartbroken Spike died, and Anya, but then i was happy when they brought him back in Angel so its all good 🙂

Tearjerkers

There are four episodes that I have seen over and over but I have always and probably will always cry each time. You can all probably guess them but maybe one is a surprise.

Becoming
Into the woods (the prbly surprise)
The Gift
Chosen

I'm not surprised by into the woods being on your list - i always cry during that one too, during Xander's speech at the end to Anya. And i always cry during becoming 2 and passions too. Even after many viewings.

its the bit when spike is saving the world and buffy hold hands with him, and theirr hands go up in flames,

thts the bit tht gets me :'(

I didn't cry during the last episode, as I think I was still in denial that this was the end. After it was over, I was in shock and I kep thinking that there had to be more Buffy to watch. Anya and Spike dying were definitely depressing and reading this thread has actually made me upset all over again. 🙁

they shouldnt of killed anya in the last episode, it was a wee shame, that was the bit that shocked me the most, but i suppose they had to make the last episode effective etcc,,

I never saw Anya's death coming either. I was really moved by it all. I had tears in my eyes, I must admit. The whole Buffyverse really drew me in. It was emotional to see it go.
