OMWF named #1 BtVS Episode on SYFY

No way OMWF should be first... That's a blasphemy with all the other awesome eps on BtVS... 😉

That's a pretty good list, overall. Personally, I would put "The Body" in the top spot. For me, "The Body" is the best episode of any television show I have ever seen. It's so simple, yet so powerful. I do love that "Doppelgangland" made the list. Gotta love when Willow says "That's me as a vampire? I'm so evil and skanky, and I think I'm kinda gay!" 😀

The top 20 episodes are all correct, imo, but the order is definitely wrong. I would put OMWF at 20 instead of 1.

Any idea if the top 20 sections with Anthony head are going to be made available online? So that fans worldwide can see what he has to say?

There is, or at least was, a fairly poor quality vid on YouTube of all of Anthony's pieces (without the actual eps). It appeared to have been recorded with a video camera from the screen, and was pretty rough. But it's better than nothing, and nicely edited down to just his pieces. If you can't find it let me know and I'll try to find it.

Found it:

Wow that is some horrible quality, but better than nothing
🙁

Is this really all we have to go on?

thanks
The Body and Conversations With Dead People are my two absolute favorites but I would like to see Primeval up there as well. The fight scene with Adam and Buffy is one of my favorite scenes from the entire series.

That is surprising because I always found the fight scene to be a major rip off of the Matrix, it is even rumoured that stunt coordinator for 4 years Jeff Pruitt even got fired partly for this, although other speculation is that it was partly due to a comment he made to SMG. Or a whole string of things.

''We'll start with the bad news: Jeff Pruitt, the stunt coordinator for Buffy, has been fired for creative differences.''

And the 'EPIC fight on the Bronze'' that got him fired.

Each to their own I suppose.

That is very interesting. I was unaware of the confrontations between them and I have also never seen The Matrix. I suppose I will have to watch it sometime and see how I feel about it. Thank you for the sources though. 🙂

Joss Whedon:
''I wanted to comment on our rather obvious homage of last night to same film. We broke the story, magic-girl bests machine-man, and in pre-production realized the structural similaities to the Matrix. I became sheepish and insisted we make sure the action looked NOTHING LIKE the film, 'cause I'm not interested in being too derivative. I was VERY SPECIFIC on the subject. Of course, I wasn't around when they were filming it, I was preeping my show and having my organs removed. So IMAGINE THE LAUGHTER when I saw dailies. The incredilbe lack of laughter. But it was too late to reshoot, and it did look cool, so I lived with it. Still, proof posative (as if I needed more) that I can't run two shows AND maintain basic personal hygiene. Guess which one's gonna go?''
