Pets, anyone?

Well, everyone should have a pet! They're like an extra member of the family! Right now I have a black German shepherd named Axle Kobi. (First and middle names.) Yep, I'm one of THOSE owners. Yknow, the ones that talk to their pets like they're real people? Uh huh! Kobi was his puppy name before it got changed to his current one and he always gets excited when you say "Kobi."

He's a crossdresser, too. Don't get me started on that :lmao:.

So what about you guys? Do you have any pets and if you do what kind? Also, what kind of owner are you? Do you treat your pets as people or as...well, pets?

i have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Rosie, and she is the sweetest animal you could ever hope to meet. she's also the dopiest. she doesn't even bark!

I have a dog, goes by the name of Patch. He's a cross between a Collie and a Terrier...Stop laughing!!!! He's 10 years old and a bit of a slob! He is really intelligent though, he knocks at the door when he wants to com in...oh and he laughs!! its cutest thing! and I pretty much talk to him like he is a real child...I'm THAT owner!

No pets currently, unless you count the rabbits Mom decided to let run free in our backyard.

I've had dogs in the past, one of them was taken off an shot by a neighbor, one met her death by car, and the other just walked off one day and never returned.

If I ever get a pet in the future I'd probably have a cat, as long as it was all black. If I had a dog I'd want a smaller one. But I don't mind not having pets though, I'm OK with the house not smelling and not having hair everywhere.

Well I don't own any pets right now. But I used to own a couple of horses. I used to have a 21 year old registered Appaloosa mare named Lucy and a 3 year old registered Thoroughbred (ex-race horse) named Cesear's Tribute.

I've had at least one dog all of my life except for the 4 years that I was in the Navy. My current one is half Boston Bull Terrier and half Back Fence Romeo that I adopted from Animal Control when our previous one was stolen. He's just a puppy, and is boiling over with energy and loves everyone he meets. My son's wife named him "Ahn Joon" which I'm sure is misspelled, but is Indonesian for "Black Dog." I call him "Little Man." Even as we speak, he's scratching on the door wanting in.

Sadly we don't have any pets! Not from lack of begging because everytime we go shopping I drag my mum to the pet store and pout! lol

we'd wake up the next morning and all our stuff would be gone! we had builders working on our house a few years ago, and one of the forgot the key to the back gate, so he climbed over the wall. i watched form the kitchen as Rosie stared at him an watched him climb into our garden. if he'd been an armed robber, i don't know what would have happened!

He does answer back actually...he will pretty much have a conversation with ya.He does this thing too when he wants to come inside the house where he pretends to be cold so he starts shivering but the second he gets in the door he's fine!

My best friend down the road has a cat and they've had it for like two years and neglected to name it. And they tried a while back but it wouldn't respond. It does however respond to insults which usually involve the SH word and end with the word head! lol I settled for calling it fat cat!

I have...... lets start with dogs first shall we? 😉

1 black and white pittbull/lab mix thats 16 years old her name is lady she is the sweetest dog you could ever hope to find... she is still playful for her age too I love her to bits except when she sits in my purse i think she may pee there and it scares me lol

2 Chihuahua Doxin dogs... both brown one is a softer lighter brown thats the girl her name is Angel.... the boy is a darker brown rex both sweeties... Angel is alot more quiet and tame than rex

ok that settles dogs so thats 3 animals so far

On to cats 😀

1 short hair grey and white tabby named Lucas.... he's alittle less than a year old... and he is the meanest thing you'd ever meet lol but can also be the sweetest too depending on what ya catch him at

1 Long haired fluffy cat lol dunno what you'd call mooch... but he is a lover he's got this poofy squirell tail its too cute... His name is mooch cause he eats alot and then cries for your food 😛

1 Orange and white tabby named Oliver.... he's a lover when he's inside but dont come near him when he's outside... he's also really skiddish...

1 Calico colored poofy cat.... her name is cleo... we named her that cause we found her in august but since it was a girl couldn't name her leo so we put the C on the front of it... she's had 3 litters of kittens now... all gorgeous too mind you... she's a total sweety

ok and no on to the stranger ones we are now up to..... 7 animals

2 albino rats.... One named Salt and the other Pepper both girls.... both really fat... and both really skiddish lol but too cute!!! with there little noses 😉

that brings the count to 9 animals... Mind you some of these animals are in alabama but they are still mine and i love them all the same 🙂

I know it sounds absurd now, what with all the "pit bulldog" attacks you see on the news these days, but 20 years ago, Pits and Staffordshires were considered unsuitable to serve as watch dogs because they were so friendly.

I have a golden lab and charpe mix (we rescued him) named Elwood. A calico cat named Patches. And my little sister has a hamster named Peanut Butter. We also have an aquarium and the fish are my 4 year old brothers so the names change every week (the other day one of them was named Optimus Prime) So yeah we love pets. I would say that I treat my dog more like a person than the rest because I just kind of start chatting with him!! :lmao:

Ok, currently I have two dogs, one is a minature pinscher/poodle mix, named Poopsie Loodles. She is actually my mother-in-laws dog that lives with us during the week and goes home with my MIL on the weekends. Its a complicated story.

The other is a Rottweiler named Rocky, tho his nickname is Wooby. That came from his childhood. We've had him since he was 2 weeks old, we bottle fed him and stuff. Anyhoo, we originally named him Rocky because my husbands first Rottweiler was an ex police dog named Roxy and because we watching a Rocky marathon on tv that week. He got his nickname because when we took him outside for the first time he looked like a little wooby worm scooting in the grass.

Now, we have 3 cats, the first being Pufferbutt. She was the first pet my husband and I ever had as a couple. She got her name because when she was little she used to run up and down the hallway sideways with her tail puffed up.

The second is Fiki, aka, Raffi. He is a HUGE orange and white tabby that is my husband's baby. This cat could get away with murder if it were up to my husband.

The other cat is a gray and black tabby named Zelda. She's insane. Really insane.

I'm not allowed to have pets in my current apartment, but when we live someplace where we can have pets, we plan to have 2 Huskies and a cat.

I love cats but we could never have them because some of my family is allergic to cats.

I used to have an orange stray cat named "Sherbert" but she had to live outside. She slept in the tree and was always there when I went to go get her. 😛 She was stolen/ran away like three days after I found her lol.
