Aww you guys lol. The mods here are great 😀. I mean, if they can put up with almost 4,000 of us....well...you gotta agree with me that they've got guts 😉

I didn't know this post was getting posted since I was away for the weekend, but I thought I should add my 11 cents. I really appreciate all that you guys have said 🙂
Thursday night I logged on and spent five hours sorting out the "argument" shall we say that was going on. This was the night before I was leaving for the weekend, hadn't packed and didn't really have time to be online. I don't need people to constantly tell me I'm great lol, but in times like that what I don't need is to be screamed at when I haven't done anything wrong. I have always been completely honest to the members of this board, I will answer any question, and I have nothing to hide. If I make a mistake, I try the best I can to rectify it.
I don't like to say this, but I am in school right now and living off my savings. In all honesty I shouldn't be spending the money for this board, but I wouldn't want to do that to the members. So it really hurts when someone who is to be perfectly honest using this board on my dime swearing at me or calling me names.
So I guess the point is, thank you to everyone who apologized to me personally and on the board in general. Things happen and for 99.99% of you we understand and it's behind us. But just along the lines of what Jacklyn said, please stop and think for a minute before you blast one of the staff. If something has angered you or you think someone's been wronged by us - ask first, before blowing up. You might not have the entire story. If you report a post and I don't respond, it's probably because, like today, I had 11 reported posts to deal with or like the other day when I had 21 new pms to wade through, as well as the regular posts. We never ignore a pm, and we don't play favorites.

Just to stick my 3 and a bit pence in over this one, having run boards for a while... Unfortunately, when you chuck a few thousand members onto a site, with say a few hundred "regulars", things sometimes boil out of control. It's understandable, but not to be accepted of course.
From a user point of view with any site such as this, you need to bear these points in mind;
- One of the administrators (or more) are paying for the site. You're using their money to post, effectively.
- If something has annoyed you, take a break. Go offline. Have a drink. Watch TV. If it's still bothering you, ask one of the staff about it. Don't assume anything.
- If the above hasn't helped you resolve a problem with site staff and you feel you no longer want to post - then honestly - don't. Nobody is forcing anybody to use a website.
- And lastly (and most importantly): remember that not everybody holds the same point of view as you. Accept that. People have different points of view. That's one of the joys of life - but don't try to force or destroy opinions. Behind every username is a person, so personally attacking them *IS* personally attacking *the person*.
- The biggest point: have fun. Be yourself, but respectful.
