Please, please please. PLEASE.

When you're writing your posts, please capitalize the first word in your sentences. There's been a rash lately of people never ever ever using a capital letter in their posts or thread titles and it's doing my head in.

Please, save my sanity.

Seriously, though, thank you for this! I'm sort of a grammar freak, and seeing people writing in all lowercase or chat speak makes me angry.

To be fair, i think I am probably guilty of this ( ^ ) but if its any consolation, I do notice. Often im typing too quick to really care or add the apostrophes and I cant be arsed to go back. I also mix American english with British english regularly (realize for example).

I'm a grammar freak too. But I also tend to not capitalize some "I"s in my sentences. You call it lazy, I call it "not caring".


...I just realized I tend to read over my posts after posting and edit. I'm weird.

Agreed. I try to use proper grammer in my posts, but sometimes I get lazy and slack 🙂 Bad Becky.

I know I don't have authority here, so people will probably ignore me, but while were on that...Could we also shortly discuss punctuation? That's what's driving me crazy, when people write sentences that go over 3 lines and never once use a comma. It just makes everything unreadable!
