President Trump

I, definitely think that he should be. Just not sure if it will actually happen. Part of me thinks that nothing will really happen, regardless of guilt. However, the way things have been going of late, it almost feels inevitable that he will be out of office, one way or another before his term is actually over.

Starting a war isn't really unusual though, haven't the majority of Presidents had a part in some war going on?

Who was the last President to be impeached, and what was it for?

Do you guys think that Trump should be impeached? If not now than when would it get to that stage for you?

No the first question, impeachment is supposed to be a serious measure taken against somebody in specific circumstances- corruption of office.
So simply evidence/proof of wrong-doing will do it for me. I mean, remember how long Clinton clung to power and and he was actually corrupt.

The reason I ask is because with him in the White House there's a good chance that we are heading for some kind of cold war IMO.

Maybe blame the despots and maniacs on the other side then; the ones that keep their own citizens in labour camps or assassinate people with nerve gas.
I mean, someones got to stand up to them and that's the job of a world-power; always has been.

Any chance of Trump doing anything about the masses of plastic in the ocean, Scotland is going to ban plastic straws next year.

Going through this thread for the first time in quite awhile, I can't help but wonder just what kind of conversation if, and I emphasize IF (while shuddering at the idea) Oprah actually does get that direction from God, and runs in 2020.

(Just in case youaren't aware of the Oprah/God comment)

Fair enough in a way. But time will tell on how much more corrupt or underhanded Trump is than Clinton. Let's not forget there's serious question marks over how he got into office let alone how he acts when in office.

I agree, except that its Trump who is winding them up and encouraging war mongering. The other thing is something logical can be done to oust Trump, sadly we can't say the same about those other egomaniacs. I would rather not get to the stage where all hell breaks loose before action is taken. I'd like one of the combustible elements to leave office so we can all breath a little easier.

Eh, probably more so than Bill but much less than Hillary, given what's been revealed about all that her campaign got up to against Trump and even Sanders.
The double standard between the news coverage has been pretty telling.

I disagree, since he's finally got the North Koreans suddenly talking about military scale-down/nuclear disarmament which is something the past 4 presidents failed to do; even his critics are shaking their heads and wondering if his tactics are smarter than they thought.

North Korea sabre rattled, the US- instead of making placating noises or ignoring them as previously instead showed them a bigger goddam sword.
This looked like escalation until 'suddenly' NK found a safe way to climb down and not lose face, they did this during the Winter Olympics (despite the complete hypocrisy of the CNN types) and now the South Koreans are busily singing Trumps praises; they give him all the credit regarding KJU's 'change of heart'. We'll have to see where it leads.

I am more worried about his recent staff changes which indicate a more pro-war footing/hawkish, but I'll hold my judgement until something actually happens.
But at the moment his foreign policy has been more successful than Obama's.

I've avoided news media as much as I can. Fairyland is fun. No catastropes, no worries 😎

I rekon there are a bunch of people more wound up than they need to be on Trump. If he does destroy the world, we can deal with it then. So far, he hasnt. Is everyone going to spend the next 2 years in panic mode about this guy? He is no more moronic, sexist or idiodic than major leaders before him.

I just saw @BuffyBot22 's post in reply to me - there is not a single polly on the planet that I agree with, but I also cop flack for not voting. I dont judge character on which political party people support, I judge a persons character on the way they live everyday, what they have brought to the world. I guess I am more different to the norm than I was aware of. Ta for clarification 🙂
