Magic Mike 7/10 - the story line was cack but the actors were awesome
The Dark Knight Rises 9.5/10 - really,really good. For an ending of a trilogy it tied everything up nicely.
 
Easy A: 10/10

Easily one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. Really enjoyed it, and I really like Emma Stone. Another one of my favorite up and coming actor/actress'.
 
The Dark Knight Rises: 10/10

I know that a few people have already done this one, but I had to weigh in. Awesome movie. I'm talking grand slam home run good. The action was incredible, the ending was absolutely perfect, Christian Bale was, as always, phenomenal, and Anne Hathaway (who I had doubts about as Selina Kyle) was amazing. They absolutely nailed the Batman/Catwoman dynamic (I'm a huge comic book fan) and they rolled some of the best and most iconic Batman stories of all time into one spectacular package.

It's a very epic movie. The final showdown between Batman and Bane and everything going on around the was incredible, and there were a ton of great twists. They tied all three movies together really well.

It isn't often that a comic book movie can make the third (or in the case of X-Men, fourth and fifth) installment of a franchise equal or exceed it's predecessors. The Dark Knight Rises does just that.
 
A Single Man 9/10

This is a film I have been wanting to see for a good long while. I finally had a chance to watch it early this morning. It exceeded my expectations. I had heard from some friends that it was absolutely fantastic, and it was. It really was. Colin Firth was absolutely spot on, and I felt he should have won a Oscar for this film rather than "The Kings Speech". The acting of not only Colin Firth, but Matthew Goode, Nicholas Hoult, and Juliane Moore was amazing. The soundtrack was another thing that made me fall in love with the film. It was fantastic. Something that I will be purchasing soon. Absolutely a fantastic film.
 
Intruders - 5/10
Pretty decent horror/thriller movie with some nice twists. Clive Owen is really good (actually better than usual) and so is Carice Van Houten and the spanish actors! If you're into horror movies with some clever writing I suggest this one!

Attack the Block - 4/10
I was watching this expecting a sort of Kick-Ass-style action movie, but I was let down, sadly. The story is very simple, the actors are okay (Nick Frost is awesome though, as always 😀 ), but there's nothing really compelling about it. At the end they try to include how the police are mistreating these poor gangster kids, but it feels forced.

I didn't like the end of AtB but thought the rest was excellent
12 Rounds: 7.5 out of 10

12 Rounds only has one big problem: It was made in 2009. Had it been made in 1999, I think it would have been really popular. It's a total throwback action movie, much in the same vein as Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and Speed. It's not a dumb movie by any means, and it's a lot of fun. The action is great, John Cena is an incredibly underrated leading man and it keeps you going the entire time. Really good movie.

Armageddon 9.9/10

The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 10 is that
Bruce Willis dies
and I can't help but cry my eyes out everytime I watch it.
 
The Dark Knight Rises 8.5/10

Very good, but not as good as either Batman Begins or The Dark Knight, in my opinion. Maybe it was just the audio mix in the cinema I went to but there were times when Bane was very hard to understand. Perhaps they should have got James Earl Jones to do the voice 🙂

That would have been fricking awesome! :D But I can't decide which of the three Nolan Batman movies I like best. Maybe the new one, but I always preferred Batman Begins.
The Artist...

I can't give it a rating.. I couldn't finish the film. I got about an hour and ten minutes into the film, and I just couldn't finish it.. The music was good at the beginning of the film, but as the film went on the music started to grind in my ears. So I didn't enjoy it. It was a good film from what I saw, but I just couldn't finish it.

Overhyped IMO. Wasn't crazy about it.
Madagascar 3, 7/10. Super-cute movie. I'm sure I've seen the 1st 2 while the kids were watching them on DVD, but not in a theater. Really it was worth it for the rainbow circus Afro. 😀

Amazing Spider-Man, 8/10. Really, really great!! I've heard it's even better in 3D, too bad I can't watch 3D.

yeah, I thought this movie was actually not great. I'm not a huge fan of Nolan's Batman movies but I definitely expected more from this.
Bane - seriously, what a disappointing villain... Anne Hathaway was completely forgettable as Catwoman, the few action scenes were dull, and when that hovercraft came on screen I nearly lost it... 2/5.
 
The Town: 8.5/10

Awesome movie. Ben Affleck and Jeremy Renner deliver spectacular performances in this one. In a movie about bank robbers, Affleck does a superb job of getting you fully behind his character. The plot is smart, fast-paced and exciting, the action is great and Blake Lively turns in one of the most underrated performances of her career. I love really good action movies and this one's a classic. Great movie.

Magnum Force aka Dirty Harry 2 - 7/10

Has a few cool scenes and overall it was good, but not even close to the first one.

I think Bane was a fine villain. It's good that they didn't try to make a second villain like The Joker. Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle was great, in my opinion, and I think they never actually called her 'Catwoman'. Thank god they didn't try to copy Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman, because that wouldn't have worked, she's perfect.
 
The Descendants - 7.5/10

Very good movie, actually. George Clooney's performance is excellent. Shailene Woodley is so beautiful! And her performance is also really great.
