Safety Not Guaranteed - 9/10
Just watched it again. Seriously, this movie is fricking awesome!

Pain and Gain.

Never thought I'd say this, but Michael Bay actually made a pretty good film.

7/10

"Mortal Instrument: City Of Bones"

This thing is so filled with gratuitous violence that it is absolutely comical, and the characters look just about as dangerous as our neighbor's Pomeranian. There's one guy who must dip his whole head in a barrel of hair gel every morning before breakfast, and the whole premise of the movie, that there are a group of young people, the latest in a long hereditary line of demon fighters, who can see the demons in their true form, while everyone else sees them as normal humans, is a pure "Grimm" ripoff (Or maybe the books came first, and "Grimm" was the ripoff) which has always seemed to me to be a "Buffy" ripoff, which, for all I know, Joss ripped off from some other writer's character.

If you've got to have a movie about a bunch of kick ass, battle tested warriors, give me "The Expendables" any day. Those guys actually look like they've been in a few fights.

The family 8/10 I expected comedy but it had a good story and I love a good gangster movie.

Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox - 8/10
If you like the animated DC stuff, check this one out. I thought it was awesome.

Jurassic Park 3D - 10/10
Finally saw my favorite movie in the theater again. Only very few theaters in my region show this movie, so I was pretty lucky. The 3D was nice, but the movie is awesome anyway, so it wasn't really necessary. Still, I was able to watch it in theaters, so I'm not complaining.

Aladdin 9/10

Still as good. Although I wonder how I wasn't frightened watching it as a child... Have you seen Jafar? The guy was majorly creepy...

The World's End - 8/10

I thought this was awesome! I really liked the other two "Cornetto" movies, and this one was just as good. I'll definitely have to watch it again.

Breakfast Club 7/10

After years of hearing about it, I finally saw it. It was good, but after everything I'd heard and read about it, I was somehow expecting... more... Still, it was pretty good 🙂

The Hunchback of Notre-Dame 9/10

Needed a Disney movie yesterday night. Maybe I didn't watch the best one to feel better, but it surely distracted me enough. Still as good as it was when I was a kid.

Gravity - 9/10

WOW! Seriously, this movie was awesome! Visually stunning, very suspenseful, great score and an unbelievable performance by Sandra Bullock. If this performance doesn't get an Oscar nomination, I don't know what does.

Don Jon 8/10 Good movie. I loved how they emphazised the explotation of woman in the media.

Hocus Pocus 10/10 I watched this film when I was about 8 years old and ever since its a must for my sister and I to watch i during this time of the year. I ended up buyng it since I sometimes would miss it when it would be on t.v. Watched it with my niece and she was hooked!

JCoatsworth
JCoatsworth
I've got to watch Don Jon. I saw the trailer and I thought it looked really interesting.
Prisoners - 8/10

Great movie! But a really, really heavy subject, and there's some pretty sick stuff in the movie. In my opinion, it is like a cross between The Silence of the Lambs and Gone Baby Gone, but even darker.

We are the Millers - 7/10. I thought it was funny. Wasn't sure if it was gonna be mainly silly but I think it was more funny than silly actually. Though I kind of wish that the age limit had been higher because of the sex jokes... I brought my 14year old brother to see that... I wanted to take him to Insidious 2 but that he had to be 15 to see. But it's okay for 11 year olds to watch J. Aniston do a striptease? Yeah, ok...
