True Romance - 7/10
You immediately recognize Tarantino wrote this. Awesome cast as well. Christopher Walken stole the show, in my opinion.

Interstellar 6/10

Yeah, this was...okay. I enjoyed the clever 'science' bits more than the 'fiction' bits and I think it really fell apart at the end. I also wasn't thrilled with either MM or AH in their roles. MM just muttered a lot of his lines as he busily played himself as astronaut (so disappointing compared to his fantastic role in 'True Detective') and AH just did her 'aloof persona with cry-face underneath', which I'd seen a lot.

The FX visuals were effective and some of the set-pieces were very exciting, I loved the robots (give them their own movie) but this movie isn't that complicated or clever and some of the Nolan dialogue was a bit on-the-nose 'this is your motivation' speak.
My rating is pretty fair because this spectacular movie is a little on the empty side.

Great movie, and yeah, Tarantino is all over this one- I always think of this as one of his best.
