The People Vs. Larry Flynt: 8/10.

I really liked this film. Woody Harrelson is amazing, as usual, and Courtney Love shocked everyone with her solid performance.

Titanic 3D - 10/10

I know it's cheesy, but man I love Titanic. 😛 It's so nostalgic and awesome. I saw it in theatres because I was about 3 when it first came out, so I of course never got to experience it in theatres. Seeing it in theatres and in 3D was like seeing it for the first time... It was a weird experience, but I liked it. After years of watching our VHS copy, it was weird seeing it on the big screen, but it was fun, especially since I saw it with my bestie. Great time. 🙂

Heathers: 9/10

The perfect high school dark comedy. This was when Winona Ryder became Winona Ryder, and she was on top of her game. A classic.

Titanic 3d 10/10

Ignoring the 3d, this is one of those films which is so much better watching in the cinema! It felt like it whizzed past, and when I did notice the 3d it wasn't distracting or taking from the amazing movie. Literally sent shivers down my spine every scene 😀
 
War Horse - 5/10. The movie wasn't terrible, so I'm not going to say that. I didn't hate it, so I'm not going to say that. It had some beautiful cinematography, amazing sets, great music, and a few wonderful acting performances. That said, it also had some terrible acting performances that I wouldn't have expected from a movie that was as hyped as War Horse. All in all, I couldn't get into the movie. The only bits in the entire movie that provoked a reaction from me were two scenes later on in which 2 horses were either dying and/or injured. Other than that, absolutely nothing. The characters themselves, the writing, etc., none of them moved me whatsoever. It was unfortunate, I really wanted to love the film, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
 
Dunno if it counts as a movie, but it's pure genius and childhood memory! Or maybe it's just me enjoying oldies! 😛 10/10

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?: 20/10

Beyond a classic. It's just pure, unadulterated fun. I can watch this movie over and over and never get tired. It's just a part of me. 🙂

I love this movie, it's hilarious.. One of the few comedies that I regard as one of my favorite movies of all time. 5/5.

The Other Woman - 10/10

One of Natalie Portman's best performances to date. It's also very nice to see Lisa Kudrow on my screen - Loved her since Friends. The film was incredibly moving and thought invoking. There wasn't a lot of humour to be found, and it was fairly subtle when it was there, but who says there has to be a lot of humour to make a film good? It had the tenancy to rip your heart out and stomp on it, and just when you lost hope, it would put it back, sew the wound, and warm it next to a nice fire. I really cannot say enough good things about it. Highly recommended.

Batman: Begins at least an 8/10

Not as good as the old ones (I was a huge fan of Poison Ivy in my young days. And Mr. Freeze was weird but cool. And the Penguin was just plain crazy and funny) but a very good "spin-off". Also, major points for Katie Holmes 😀

I havent even seen a trailer of it in 3D. Was hoping just to catch the trailer to see how good the post conversion is.... your opinion on it? Is it worthy of all the time Cameron has put in on it?


A friend of my sisters told us she went to see Titanic 2, and wouldnt back down that there isnt one... she was insistent that she'd seen a new one and not the old 1997?(maybe is it that old) one.... this is why i dont trust other peoples opinions etc on movies... unless i know theyre a geek like me... and know their shizz. 😀

I thought the 3D work was very well-done. 🙂 It was weird seeing it in 3D since I'm so used to just seeing it on the small screen... But would I spend another $13.50 on it? Um... no. It was a great experience, but if you're not a huge Titanic fan, then it probably isn't worth it. 😛 Like I said, I mainly just saw it because I love that movie, and wanted to be able to experience it in theatres.
 
I think I've still got in on VHS knocking around somewhere (that i knicked off a mate) but I did see it in the theatre when it originally came out, I just wanted to see it for like the "king of the world" shot and the bit where it sinks.. you know that bit.. oh sorry spoiler dudes 🙂
 
Case 39.

Meh. I watched this with my sister, she screams alot during scary movies, which I don't get. I can flinch if something surprises me but to actually scream out loud, what is that about? and it's not that my sister screams like a girl, she sounds like a cow or something, it's hilarious. But whatever.. and this movie wasn't even scary! that little girl was creepy yes, but I think it would've been creepier if wasn't something supernatural, and what was she anyway..? ... idk, it was just a bland, forgettable movie.. 2/5.
 
The Rolling Stones: Gimme Shelter - 10/10

The music was absolutely amazing, but this is no ordinary concert. This was the infamous Altamont Free Concert, where disturbing violence interrupted and ruining the harmony that was supposed to be the "Woodstock of the West". Who's genius idea was it to hire the Hell's Angels motorcycle club as security, anyway? It also included unwatchable footage of the actual death of a concert goer, Meredith Hunter. The atmosphere is so intense, you feel as if you are actual there witnessing the horrible events that took place. This is one of the most important documentaries ever, that showed us the sad end of a hopeful culture.
