and yes, Phenomena is Dario Argento's greatest hit, and I think it is Iron Maiden playing, the music is really good but it makes no sense for the movie 😀
 
Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (3D) - 7/10

Well... I'm not really a fan of the new Star Wars movies. Jar Jar Binks is so annoying and I don't like Anakin.
Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor are awesome, though, and the final fight against Darth Maul is really epic!
Best part of the movie! That fight alone makes the movie worth watching.
I hadn't seen the movie in a long time, so it was cool, but really prefer Episodes IV-VI.
 
I watched unthinkable last night. I thought it was very good. Samuel L Jackson ruled as always. 8/10.
 
The Woman in Black - 8/10
Loved the film, but I'm just really bad at horror so couldn't enjoy it at a 10/10 level! Thought it was brill though. Daniel Radcliffe was great! Even if I couldn't get my head around the idea of him playing the father of a 4 year old at the start!
 
Gladiator - Erm . . . a 10

I don't know how I got this far without seeing this movie. It's so completely up the alley of movies that I dig . . .

4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days - 10.
Right up there with "Requiem For A Dream" as one of the most disturbing and haunting films I have ever seen. It's so brilliant, so gut wrenching, and so realistic, but I never want to watch it again.

I cried pretty much from start to finish watching Requiem, and was down for at least a day and a half after! I loved it, but never again.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - 8/10

2nd time I've watched it and it's still cool 🙂
 
Carnage 10/10

I absolutely loved this film!!! It was so funny. I loved the whole setting - that it takes place in real time, there are only four characters set in a room - and the interaction between the characters!

The acting was great - Jodie Foster in particular was incredible as was Kate Winslet. I really recommend seeing it. Its great how it starts off all civilised - two sets of parents having a meeting up after an incident with their children - and then it descends into chaos as cracks start to appear in the relationships. I love how the dynamic changes over the course of the film, its sometimes couple vs couple, women vs men, and then bickering between each couple.

The four actors were amazing in it

Being John Malkovich - 10/10
I watched it the day before yesterday...and I seriously feel like watching it again now. I really didn't expect to like it as much as I did...but oh man, I loved it.

The Professional - 9/10
Natalie Portman was lovely and Gary Oldman was frightening. It was well acted and lovely. I was expecting it to be as good as it was though. I think I expected a bit too much to tell you the truth haha.

The last movie that I saw in theaters was Chronicle - 7/10. The trailer deserves a 10/10 though. The movie was just...eh. It was an interesting concept but the acting was a bit awful and it just wasn't that exciting.

I really want to see The Grey, and The Woman in Black...but I agreed to watch the latter with my best friend, so I must wait 😡.

I'm about to watch Punch Drunk Love now 😀

I watched a part of it a year or so ago and thought it was crap, but it's actually pretty cool! 🙂
 
Almost Famous: 10
Every time I watch this film, I feel so good, and so inspired. It's so accurate of the time period of the 70's. Plus, the soundtrack is the best film soundtrack ever. So many classics. Cameron Crowe is so amazing, and you can tell he's passionate, and puts his all into his films. One of the greatest films I've seen.

Skyline : 2/10

I have always loved armageddon type movies and saw this as a perfect opportunity to wach another one. The acting was subpar and the plot was really just ok.

Once the ending hit I just said to myself "Did I really spend all this time to see that!?"

I loved the movie, but it could have been better. I must admit I was the same as you, the ending was the best part.
In The Loop

One of my favorite comedies. It's absolutely hilarious, I recommend it. 4,5/5.

Pan's Labyrinth

Not for me. I can see why certain people would like this, but it's just not for me. It bored me. 2/5.
 
The Woman in Black 7/10. A bit predictable but good for a few scares. The ending was a bit cheesy and I think Stephen Fry would have made an excellent Mr Daly.
