Hacks - entire series - 2 huge thumbs way up! Just finished the finale. Series has a near perfect Rotten Tomatoes score for good reason!
Won pretty much every award possible. Shoot, after last year, even I was like "ok enough already give someone else a chance!"
Yet after watching the final season seeing both leads just kill it every scene I'm like "frack it just give them all the awards again!"
Gonna miss seeing more, but am happy they got to end it on their own terms in a satisfying fashion. Kudos to cast & crew!

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 - 6/10

Not as bad as some people say, it is solid, but also a bit of a slog in the first half and just lacking a bit of the old magic (maybe not having the original trio together for the season could be one problem?). My favourite episode was the bank one, a fun bottle episode! The season ended quite strong and season 2 is shaping up quite well.

Ted Lasso Season 1 - 8/10
This show is brilliant, I can totally understand the hype now! Love the premise, the characters and all the heart! Also, I might have the biggest crush on Hannah Waddington, she is a goddess!

Figured you would like it too! Actually crushed way for on Sam & Keeley. 😳
From Season 4 - 7.5/10

The season finale was a bit underwhelming (maybe because it was more a set up fro the final season), but overall I’d say it’s the best season since the first one. The new character they add is really good too.

I watched a really good movie called "Soul on Fire". It's about John O'Leary who, at 9 years old, was burned over 99% of his body and was not expected to live but is now a motivational speaker. He lives in St. Louis which is not too far from where I am.

The Prisoner (1967 - 1968) - 8.5/10

An insanely brilliant series! This one will require multiple viewings for me to fully appreciate it. It definitely leaves you with a lot of things to ponder.

The Prisoner really is bonkers, with one of the most infamously odd endings of a series! Which was apparently Patrick McGoohan's aim.

"I wanted controversy, arguments, fights, discussions, people in anger waving fists in my face saying, 'how dare you?'"

"Fall Out" was so good! I really enjoyed the unmasking of #1.
Cape Fear - 5.5/10
Strong start, decent ending, a lot of fluff in the middle. Worth it just for Adams and Bardem, but what looked like it was going to be one of the best TV shows of the year ended up hit and miss.

Widow's Bay Season 1 - 9/10

But this is one of the best shows this year. Big Matthew Rhys fans since the Americans, and this is a great role for him. The mix of horror and dark comedy, and some of the mystery box stuff is so well done. It'll speak to a lot of old school horror fans, but its also its own thing. Excited for S2.

Buffy Season 7 - 7/10

An underrated season IMO. It has its flaws and things I'd change, but also has a lot of good stuff, like Principal Wood, Faith's return and some cracking standalone episodes. Also the message of the finale is the perfect note for the show to go out on. S1 is still the weakest season and I'll die on that hill 🤣

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - season 4 premiere. 2 huge thumbs up.
Maybe the most brilliant episode of the entire Star Trek universe!
Can't really talk about it without major spoilers.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. Not so much the 3rd one but your always going to get the odd bad one with the episodic format.
The Librarians - 8/10

This is a fantasy series about the Librarians, a group of people dedicated to keeping magic safe and in the right hands. Christian Kane is in ot, so you will see a familiar face if you watched Angel.

I just looked this series up - it's also got Noah Wyle and John Larroquette! Plus some other familiar faces who appear for a couple of episodes. I might put this on my list to watch in the future.

Thank for the suggestion, @NotASlayer! Will keep in mind and hope I'll be able to locate them to watch.

There are some made for TV movies before the series; if you can watch those first - I haven't managed to get them at all yet - I'd suggest doing so.

Was hooked at the beginning, dark matter as subject and not easy to watch but in this decade the best serie ive seen so far 10/10
