Locked Up Abroad: 9/10

This show is always good for laugh. How could someone be so stupid? I mean seriously, why would ANYONE chance transporting drugs for money? Especially in someplace like Turkey or Mexico?! There's not enough money in the world to tempt me.

The Office (UK) series 1 (2001) 8/10
A classic that will never age. I've watched the team building episode about twenty times alone😛

Veronica Mars S1 - 8/10
Such a great first season, I had a lot of fun watching it; there is something just as special about a re-watch as a first time watch, because you read into things differently when you know what's coming 🙂

True Detective (Season 1) - 8/10
Very well made murder mystery. Love the unusual blend of Louisiana swamps and dark occult. The main characters are extremely interesting and have very conflicted personalities. I watched episodes 5 through 8 in one go last night, because it was so captivating.
Also felt the aesthetic of the show was interesting. Even though it takes place in a very warm setting, it felt quite cold, unlike Breaking Bad, which, in my opinion, added to the darkness of the subject matter.

Veronica Mars S2 - 9/10
My favorite season of this show, it's just so perfectly plotted out, leaving no loose ends by the time the finale rolls around. I also find this much more personal for Veronica than solving Lilly's murder in S1, for different reasons. My absolute favorite episode of the whole show is also Not Pictured, the finale of this season.

The Office (UK) Series 2 (2002) 9/10

The Office (UK) Christmas Special (2003) 8/10

Blackadder: Back and Forth (1999) 8/10

Blackadder: The Cavalier Years (Comic Relief special) (1988) 7/10

Inhumans s1 7/10 another decent superhuman series. Its nice to have ties to its 'verse but a stand alone story. The first episode felt corny but it progressed quickly and didnt linger on wasted story time. I enjoyed it, easy to binge. Most of my first impressions of characters flipped by the end. I'd hoped to see Max (Ramsey from Game of thrones) try a less villainous role, but he does it so well. I enjoyed the King's facial acting.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel
synopsis:
It's the late 1950s and Miriam "Midge" Maisel has everything she has ever wanted -- the perfect husband, two kids and an elegant apartment on New York's Upper West Side. Her seemingly idyllic life takes a surprising turn when she discovers a hidden talent she didn't previously know she had -- stand-up comedy. This revelation changes her life forever as she begins a journey that takes her from her comfortable life on the Upper West Side through the cafes and nightclubs of Greenwich Village as she makes her way through the city's comedy industry on a path that could ultimately lead her to a spot on the "Tonight Show" couch. The series was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino ("Gilmore Girls").

Really kinda love this show. It has 'smart' humor.

I want that synopsis to be my life :(
Cowboy Bebop Series 1 [1998] 8/10
A really entertaining, thrilling and stylish series, with great characters and sharp dialouge. It has a style all its own and the finale was breathtaking. Did they really only do one season...😱

Stargate Universe 7/10

This is my least favorite Stargate series.
Found it much better this time than I remembered from my first watch though.

It just lack a bit with the characters. No one really stands out to me.
Not sure if it's the actors or the characters that doesn't really click for me.

/SK

Scream S2 - 7/10
Finally got around to watching the second season, after loving the first one. It dragged a bit in the beginning, but then episode 4 pulled me back in. And while it was slightly more predictable than S1, I still very much enjoyed it and the final reveal was definitely a surprise. Thanks goes to Alexander Calvert, whose presence in S2 is what made me watch it 😉

Agents of shield s4 - 7.5/10
I noticed a lot of popular sci fi themes mashed in together, it was a fun ride. The team has grown on me. Agents of Shield really appeals to me, good story-arcs without excessive gore or sex. S4 reminded me of the Jasmine arc in Angel and s3 of The 100 (city of light, there is even a crossover actor). The robots were a bit annoying but important to the story. I hope s5 is not it last - but in the belly of the beast thing has a similar feel to Wolfram and Hart.

Runaways s1 - 6/10
Im only 5 eps in so this is just beginning. The set up of characters is solid. The powers are a bit corny but its true of all Marvel. I think I will enjoy this. Im liking the lightness of Marvel lately.

Lost Season 1 (2004-05) 9/10
A beautifully paced first season. The concept is original, and the characters depth and suspense is really impressive. The mini-stories, and mysteries of each episode is what keeps me hooked. The flashbacks are a nice way to grow characters too. Season 2 has a tall order to follow🙂

don' worry it won't live up ;)
I binge watched Stranger Things S1 and 2 with my relatives over Thanksgiving. Wow. I loved Eleven/Hopper, Nancy/Jonathan, Steve/Dustin and Dustin/Dart in second season.

My relatives are staying with us for Christmas too. I need suggestions for shows to binge watch while they’re here. They’re in their 30s and up so I don’t think they would be interested in Buffy, sadly.

It might be worth a try. I got my Mum into it and she was in her late 60's at the time?🙂

How about one of these: Black Sails, The Americans, The Crown, or The Newsroom?

That's probably why you keep them as friends though to stroke you're ego, ha! I guess I just love challenging and visionary TV. That's what Lost is.
