That's a little condescending. You can dislike a tv series without belittling the fans who do like it.

Currently re-watching Arrow Season 1. That first season is so good, easily 8/10. The show clearly establishes its mythology, Oliver's storylines are involved and interesting, the flashbacks to the Island are intriguing and really help to build his character, the foundation for the Lauriver ship is beautifully laid (pity they never built upon it) and everything about the series is just fresh and interesting and very well-written and planned out. It's just a shame that the rest of the series went quickly downhill.

Try shock & awww...as in shock the audience with bs and then awwww...hope they forget how we never get around to answering any questions, or filling in the jumbo jet sized plot/logic holes. Pfft!

Unlike some people I don't require my friends acceptance to like any show/movie/music/other. Plus my close friends tend to have really good tastes in all of those, anyway.

By the way, I gave up on The Gifted after only a few episodes. Not too mention I don't watch anything on the CW.

So maybe keep all of that in mind before dissing people you don't even know personally. Just saying. 😵

Maybe the theories were in their heads, but that's not a bad thing. I like TV where the fans are allowed to give their own readings on it instead of having clear cut answers or having everything tied up. I think that's a difference in taste, you like TV with answers, but to me great TV is more about characters and tension. There's lots of plot holes in Buffy if you pick it apart, but we love it because of the emotional truth and the characters. And that's what Lost has, great character depth and tension. Its one of the most cinematic shows I've ever seen. Also, why talk about logic when Lost features themes such as Time travel? Or Ghosts and visuals or dreams? You can't apply logic to such things. Its not a show that's trying to be logical outside of the human characters. And maybe I won't like the last three seasons, but I loved the first two and so far have really liked the third.

I watched the Gifted with Mum. We both agree its pretty shit so won't be going back for the second season. But I like to give things a proper chance. Imagine if people gave up on Buffy after 3 or 4 episodes and never went back?😉 You should check out Riverdale though, its a lot of fun😛

I just watched the first two episodes of the show, and, while it seems to be moving a bit slowly at the moment, it shows some real potential.
 
Lost Season 3 (2006-07) 9/10
This one had a bit of a slow start. I was more interested in the Jack/Sawyer/Kate trying to survive and escape plot than I was the individual plots with the others, but once the season got into its groove I became more invested in them. Juliette was a great addition, and Michael Emerson's performance throughout the season was a masterclass. Weren't keen on a few episodes (the Jack Tattoo one for example), but the Desmond time travel episode is one of the best yet. A fantastically gripping and emotional finale again.
 
I dont know how to rate Disjointed. It would be highly if anything. It ran on through to the first episode again, and I was laughing even more on the second round through. The characters are beautifully consistent from start to end, they literally tell you exactly who they all are in the very first few minutes. That was the kind of cleverness that would be lost in a show being written week to week versus a show released in 2 hits.

Pete cracks me up and I love when he sounds Aussie. Carter is my favourite. I want to be Ruth when I grow up. There is probably a dollop of Dabby in me too. Mostly quite light, very easy to watch and a great chill show. I hope I get to rewatch it for a few years to come.

It is not a show to be taken too seriously, and the goofy mindset helps the jokes work. It really does remind me of Scrubs, but in an alternative healing centre instead of a hospital and I think the idea is wonderful for a sitcom.
 
Hits, Hype & Hustle - 8/10
Really entertaining and informative three part-doc series looking at the music business, and areas such as live shows (like how since the rise of streaming gigs have become the biggest source of income for acts), talent spotting, how to create a hit and comeback tours. All three parts should be available on the BBC I-player.
 
The X-Files Season 10 (2016) 5/10
I didn't hate this season as much as some, but it was a bit of a mess and at times didn't really feel like the X-Files. One thing I hope they don't repeat in S11 is use of pop/indie on the soundtrack, that is so not the X-Files😱 My prediction moving forward is that post-S11 they will reboot the series but with the Lauren Ambrose character and her partner in the Mulder and Scully roles. The finale felt like the show back on the track. Figures crossed for the new season.
 
Next of Kin - 6/10
A promising drama about the modern issue of terrorism and some of the politics involved. In the end it was very hit and miss with the pace dragging too much at times. And it didn't add that much new to the topic. At times it was very gripping though, and Archie Panjabi was fantastic in the lead role.
 
Cardinal Season 2 - 8.5/10

I think I enjoyed it even better than season 1. The cinematography is amazing!!!
 
Lost season 4 (2008) 8/10
The weakest of the first four seasons. It just isn't as gripping or exciting overall as the previous three. But the storytelling is still very tight, and the three part-finale was mind blowing.
 
Cold Case season 1
I started watching because it's a friend of mine's favourite and I was expecting the standard police procedural drama, but it actually isn't. It touches some great subjects and always has a twist to keep you on the edge of your seat. I am not a expert in police procedurals but this is a good one for fans of the genre. Plus, there are a ton of Whedonverse alumni so that's always fun (Summer Glau, Amber Benson, Vincent Ventresca, Stacey Scowley...)

Lost Season 5 (2009) 7.5/10
I wasn't so keen on the first half of the season. Bringing a main character back because of time travel I thought was cheap. But once it got into its flow in the second half, it was another strong season.
 
Six Feet Under season 1 (2001) 10/10
I sometimes forget how funny this first season is, painfully so at times. But it runs the full range of emotions, and balances them brilliantly. The casting of the lead roles is perfect, and it goes to some fantastically daring places visually.
 
Crazyhead - 8/10
It's really too bad it didn't get a second series... Especially with the little setup/cliffhanger they had going in the last episode. Great tv series, manages to stand out from the other demon-centric tv shows. Very funny
 
Vikings (the Second Season). 9/10.
Recently finished Season 2 of Vikings, the uncut/uncensored version. I love this show! Great characters! Looking forward to watching Season 3.
 
The West Wing Season 4 - 10/10
The end of this season might be my favourite season finale of the whole show.

Lost Season 6 - 7/10
A slightly below par final season. The finale was mostly satisfying but for one big thing that dragged it down IMO (which I will not reveal here😉). But still rarely a dull moment. And Lost IMO is one of the great ever shows. I think in this case the hype is justified🙂
 
Once Upon a Time - S1 - 7/10
Despite its flaws - predictable plot twists and super annoying and obvious plot holes and continuity errors - this was rather more enjoyable than I expected going into it. Whatever one can say about the show, it has a very strong first season, though there are certainly better shows out there 😉
