Once Upon a Time - S2 - 7.5/10
I almost gave it a full 8, btw. This was better than the first one, but, of course, still not perfect. It suffered from the same flaws as S1, but it didn't have as many of them. The thing that still annoys me is how predictable the plot twists/shocking reveals are; I figure every single one out before it's revealed, usually as soon as the mystery is introduced. That can get tiring.

That being said, it's got really talented actors, enjoyable storylines and sweet romances (and I'm not a romance kind of girl) plus there's something charming (no pun intended) about the somewhat weak VFX they use. I'm not sure I can put my finger on exactly why I keep watching and enjoying it (in almost 3 seasons it has made me laugh a handful of times only and made me cry only once) but whatever it is, there's something there 🙂
 
Six Feet Under Season 4 (2004) 8/10
Think this is my least favourite season, just because I think the plots become a bit too soapy at times, in a way they don't in the other seasons. Its still excellent though. David's near death experience and the fallout to it is powerful and profound storytelling. As always there's some great supporting character. The stand out this season probably being Mena Suvari's Edie and her relationship with Claire. The season finale is great too.
 
I'm currently watching Fringe and it's really good. I've also recently started Supernatural because I have a thing where I wont watch a show until theyre finished filming all seasons because I like to binge watch and not have to wait for new seasons. (i know supernatuaral isnt all the way over yet but i read theres only like 1 or 2 seasons left to film before theyre done). I actually have a comprehensive list of all the shows I have watched and all that I would like to watch if anyone is possibly interested? lol and I'm always looking for suggestions to add to my list

Stargate Atlantis 8/10

Almost up there with Stargate SG1.
Found it actually better this time around. The Wraith are the best villains in the entire Stargate universe.
Sheppard and McKay saves the shows though. I doesn't really warm up the others quite as much as I would want for it to be up there with SG1.

How I Met Your Mother S6 - 9/10
I think this might be my second favorite season (after S9, which I love). I realized it as I was watching it; it's the only one that makes me cry (Marshall's dad dying), it holds some of my favorite episodes and Barney has evolved into this much more complex man than the player he was in earlier seasons. Again, just the best sitcom out there, if you ask me 😉

So if season 9 is your favorite, I have to ask: what do you think of the finale?
I also do think season 6 is great, especially with Marshall and Lily finally trying to have a baby. And I love Subway Wars, my second favorite episode overall.
 
Rome - 9/10

The only thing keeping me back from giving this series a perfect score is the second half of season 2. Season 1 was fantastic, and MOST of season 2 is as well. However, as a former history student who studied Rome quite a bit, the liberties they take in season 2 becomes quite jarring and distracting. Apparently, the show was canceled halfway through writing season 2, so they had to rush to accomplish what they would have otherwise shown over the course of several seasons. So, I understand that.

James Purefoy was absolutely fantastic throughout the show. I usually don't watch stuff simply for actors I like, but I'm considering watching John Carter just for James Purefoy and Ciaran Hinds now, lol
 
Nailed It, on Netflix, such a lighthearted show. Not only were the the contestants terrible bakers but the judges were crazy too, one had to leave mid way through one episode to go pick up his kids!
 
The Defenders 5/10- I thought I would give this a try before I started season 2 of Jessica Jones. Ugghh. What a waste of time. Dull and typical. The only parts I was interested in where the bits with Jessica or Sigourney Weaver. Maybe its because I haven't watched any of the other shows so that's why I didn't care? *shrugs*. I really dislike Iron Fist. If he said the word "Chi" one more time....😡

I hated iron fist in the defenders but liked his own show better than the defenders
Im watching Supernatural, I am on Season 3 episode 11.
I rate it 7/10. So far, it's not as good as the hype has lead me to believe and I'm not just hooked to it the way I was with Buffy and Angel.
 
The last two days I got caught up on some of my CW shows. The Flash, Jane the Virgin and Riverdale. I'm really enjoying this season of Jane. The last episode was meh, but the episode before that was great. Riverdale is getting stale, but I love Betty and Jughead! Archie and Veronica are getting boring, Cheryl is still great though! The Flash this season is mixed, I like some episodes or parts of episodes and then some are really bad. But it's still one of my favorite shows on TV. I think Supergirl comes back next week.

I'm glad you're enjoying the show. The first 3-3½ seasons are solid and good. I stopped watching during season 6, but I hope you continue to enjoy the show. Rumple and Regina are usually the fan favorites. They're mostly what kept me watching for as long as I did.
 
Star Trek Discovery Season 1 7/10
Overall a strong first season, with a few miss-steps that drag it down (like the whole alternate Universe plot). The ending was a nice surprise. Am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

Think 22 episodes is proving too many for the second season. Its like they are cramming in too many seasons arc. I've enjoyed it too, but think the first season was better.
 
@Mr Trick Is Riverdale 22 episodes this season? If so then I think you're right. The mystery last season worked well for a shorter season. After they took out the black hood (which I'm not convinced they did) I'm not sure where the story is going now. I don't really care about Mr. Lodge trying to take over the town. I really want Betty to get rid of that Chick guy. Ugh he's so creepy!

I was surprised to hear that too, but yes I think so. It probably wouldn't be such a big deal if most the episodes were standalone rather than part of a running arc.
 
Rise: wasn't expecting to like this, but was really good! Created by Katims (maker of Parenthood & Friday Night Lights) based off of a novel which is based on a real teacher. Starring Josh Radnor Ted Mosby in How I Direct the Theater. 😛
