Save my Soul...
A personal observance on myself: Before I saw Buffy and Angel, I saw a trailer for "I Will Remember You", with Buffy saying through teared eyes "I felt you heart beat". Not knowing Angel's heart normally doesn't do this, I thought this had to be the stupidest thing. Other trailers appeared with sensitive situations and I continued to laugh....
After I started watching Buffy, those same episodes (well, some of them) made me cry. I realized how sensitive I make myself for the characters and their situations. As in, season two's finale, I really matched myself up with Buffy and what she felt and really cried.
Does anyone else think that? I don't cry for emotional pain in real life. But when I watch Buffy and Angel, I do. Does anyone else feel this way?
