I read Killers of the Flower Moon last year, and that was, pretty much the only non biography book I read for non fiction. So that does sound like it could be a similar type of read. I could read a few true crime type of books.I really can’t say this enough, but if you haven’t read Devil in the White City, definitely take a look at it. Fascinating piece of historical nonfiction detailing the Worlds Fair and H.H. Holmes and the fascinating intersection between the two. It’s not really written like a stuffy history book either. The author utilizes this great journalistic style that makes everything feel so great to read and keeps you engaged.
I do have plenty of cookbooks and gardening books, but I wasn't counting those as they're more reference ones.
