Reality Live Chats, Part 3 (All International Editions: Survivor, Traitors, BB, Amazing Race, etc)

It's kind of hypocritical (and she commented this on Wednesday's episode) that one of the reasons she nominated Richard is that she thinks he's a game player, but she's just as much, if not more, of a game player. Everything she does is strategic. She realized that she would need safety to stay and has solely focused on that each time she has gone into the eye market. But i agree Zelah was a good pick from her side, because he is the least likely to be evicted out of the three, ensuring Richard or Fariha go. I don't know the public's opinion on Richard. So it will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Fariha has tons of fans that will vote for her!
Being hypocritical is part of her gameplay. She implies as much. I liked her diary room entry about being changed by the experience, shes turned into a different person in the house, by her social experiences in the house. Thats the core of big brother, I love how it highlights that our experience shapes us as people. Not to say I'd like her as a person, but she IS one of the few playing the "social experiment" part of the game well. Richard and Jenny are as well. I think they would be a hilarious top 3.

Zelah has bizarre standards of behaviour that he expects others to obey, and I'm so glad Feyshoila is gone because its now easier to see. Its good they included his chat with Sam because that was really school yard weird. Sam is right, hes not perfect and never claimed to be. It would be an incredibly boring world if everyone thought and acted the same. Humans are allowed to have flaws and inconsistent opinions. We would be robots otherwise!

Survivor US!
GREAT Episode!
It really stood out to me that the US caters for casual viewers much better than AU does. I was watching with my mum who has seen none of the season. Having the Shannon vs Sage storyline was so funny and had mum cheering for Shannon along the way despite not seeing any of the rest of the show. That is something US survivor is miles ahead with production-wise. They are self-contained stories within episodes. If you miss an episode, its easy to pick up again. If you miss an episode of an Australian season, you're going to lose momentum.

I groaned when they split to three tribes, but cheered for a reward challenge! I love a reward challenge and it was nice to see Sophi get fed. Im sorta thinking Sophi or Alex may go on to win, but not completely sure yet. They'd have to merge again soon, right? I wondered if they just split for three because that was the challenge they already had set up before the one tribe got decimated.

Survivor US: I haven't felt like people are being very daring in their votes this season, so I was glad to see Shannon kicked out. It was so hot that even Jeff's nickname melted: now he's just "Uncle J." Switching back to three small tribes is new, and I'm not sure I like it. I hope it won't last long before the merge.

I thought the same thing! I wanted them to get jarwin? out. I thought that would be better strategy wise and have Sage keep the Shannon blindside for later. But the structure of the whole episode lead us to that vote.

Watching the live eviction of BBUK right now, and I would totally be like Sam in this washing up situation hahaha. Havent seen who goes yet tho.

I was shocked at the double eviction. I didn’t realize Richard was so popular. Losing Zelah will be an interesting dynamic in the house because he was so close to so many people. But somehow I knew Farida would not make it past this week. She is has a very in-your-face personality. But she did liven up the house, so she definitely made an impact. I’m kind of glad karmicly that Richard didn’t go because he will continue to bug Caroline for the next week.

I will be gone from home this week for a work trip so I won’t be able to watch any BB until Saturday!! So hide all reacts for me! I can’t wait to binge the week all at once though.

Zelahs face was priceless!! Thats the sort of emotional reaction evil me loves to see. It was like he suddenly realised, you can be as politically correct as possibly possible, and people will still not like you. Im giving caroline too much credit, but it was a good move by her. Caroline knew that NO ONE in the house would nominate him, so it really was the only chance to get Zelah out. I thought the crowd were chanting "get Zelah out" but online heard otherwise. They cut from Emily SO quick when she mentioned Zelah being glad that Charlie Kirk died. House is reeling!

Yeah it was easy to see that farida was out. Go hard and go home. Caroline reacting to richard staying is going to be SO funny! I cant wait to watch it. I did catch some of the live stream but UK live stream is shit. Cover all the chatting with birdsong. I hope AU doesnt do that. If people are obsessed enough to be watching the livestream, they are not going to miss the daily show!

had mum cheering for Shannon along the way despite not seeing any of the rest of the show.
Got that name wrong, should have said SAGE. It really was an entertaining rivalry. There are not enough bitches on new era so it was refreshing haha.

If you're watching a UK live stream at this time of the day over here, it's pre-watershed so they probably have to keep it clean.
EWWWWW Cameron!! Licking the spoon and then stirring the house beans. YUCK! I would not survive!!!! Gross. I would nominate that for that! And Richard has nominated Jenny for that. I would too! Jenny has got on all their bad side lol. I rekon shes still a reality star though. I'd watch her on all the reality shows. I love how catty they are getting with nominations lol. HAHAHA Nancy Vs Sam again! Id guess Nancy goes. If not both. There cant be much longer to go?

We dont see enough of their real life experiences like Caroline shared here about her engagement in Canada. And like when Richard and Elsa had their dinner together. I want to get to know the housemates too, not just constant reactions in the house. I want to know who they were going into it in a social game like this.

The three amigos just do not care talking about nominations haha. In the old AU days BB would pull them up straight away. I guess they dont have the funding for actual people watching it all onsite anymore. Hahahahahahah the boys in the hot tub. Nancy and Sam fuming in the diary room is also great.

I feel like ITV is trying too force late and live on to us. I barely watched any cos I hate it, but had to to see farida exit interview, and now for nancy and sam, whatever this short voting period is.

Apparently the finale of UK Traitors was put up online by television networks abroad before they aired it here! I think all taken back down now though. Finishes tonight.

Survivor 49 US
Alex and soph are interesting to watch.
New immunity necklace -Its not fire, its a shark. I wouldn't mind seeing Jake on Survivor 50, but no one else.
Telephone is a good way to put the tribal whispers! Legit not sure whos going. Didnt keep up with it well tonight. Riz is a terrible liar, he's not playing that. Good girl MC, better safe than sorry at this point. 😭 Oh bye Nate, at least he made the Jury. I did find him entertaining, a bit like our Eden on AU, although Eden "played" better than Nate did, Nate didn't really play as much as narrate.

Celeb Traitors UK
This is the sort of show that gets better by the season. The celebs make a big difference too, they have that filming experience, so are just more entertaining to watch. It really does show how those in the game truly have no idea, Alan and Jonathon seemed like such obvious traitors from the outside! The dramatics are fantastic, again, better by the season. The train job reminded me a lot of I'm a Celebrity AU, they make it all so dramatic, to the last second. Claudia being excited is cute too. I knew who won going into this episode, but its still worth watching.

I like that I can say I am and always have been ... a fan. Even though I wasn't really sold on this show until the second seasons.

BBUK
I absolutely hate late and live and hate they force the watch. I don't care what the audience or revolting others have to say, much like Reddit, they usually have the completely wrong read. I hope BBAU has the separate daily show, eviction show and uplate like they used to.

Cameron is grossing me out big time with his snots and communal spoon licking. I would NOT survive in a house like that. Im wary of starting my dinner while watching this.
The perfect day is a great task! Haha, this could be fun if they dont all strop about it too much. Tate-er-baiter
Teja does not like animals!
I did not understand a word nancy said in noms!
Their Basics shopping budget is pretty decent really. I like they included the bit with Emily the other week saying she felt how it affected her mood by day 3. Thats something really valuable that I hope she remembers when she is in politics.

I missed that Survivor 50 is going to be all returning players. That should be fun, but so far, I don't think anyone on 49 has really earned a spot as a "greatest" survivor player. I agree that Jake may have earned a second chance.

The last tribe switch-up was hardly worth the bother when it only lasted one vote. If they want to break alliances, they have to not switch up so rapidly.

I was disappointed that they did another safe vote, instead of making a power move. Still, I felt Nate never made much of an impression, so while he seemed likeable, I'm not sorry to see him go.

Has anyone else noticed how many of the job titles players have don't seem like real jobs? I got fixated on that this episode.

Yes! I get fixated on that online too. I always wonder how people ever get into jobs and have such luxury lifestyles!

Yeah the tribe switches were dumb but I wonder if losing Jake put a spanner in the works rather than that all being planned. And then they split for the challenge anyway. Been a bit of a mess really. Want to see some good play now post merge.

BBUK
Nancy is totally going to start an only fans hahahah.
Will be interesting to watch the house without Caroline barging in on everything. Shes so loud, I hope it wont be quiet without her. I surprisingly didnt miss farida either, so it will be good to get to know other house mates even better. I hope Jenny gets her spark back now she knows she beat two people in the vote.

BBAU

They really are right in the middle of Dreamworld haha I have been on the ride behind the stage. I'm glad I went on all those rides when I was young, I wouldn't be able to handle them now with back/neck injuries. Is it Mels eyeball in the eyeball?

Is Mel a millennial? I thought she was a bit young. Sounds like her auto-cue is a bit slow. See, I could have got a look-in as the token horse girl, if I still rode horses! Survivor always has a token feral rural person.

Colin looks like every man his age. Why do they all look EXACTLY like that? Mums a good bloke. Its a shame aussie mums have to do so much in this culture, but happy he appreciates her. I agree with him - Aliens 😀

Alana is a giant. Mel has heels on and she doesn't!! Cringe is out, isnt it?

Coco seems the usual BB type. Shes quite pale for a surfer, oh, shes not as pale on stage, probably got a fake take between filming the promo and going in. I actually like the outfit on her.

OH YAY there are fish!!! That makes me happy too! I love my fishies! Will be relaxing for the housemates to watch. If Alana is Cocos mum, she had her at 15... Coco acts younger than 30 already tho.

Conor, I saw Conor on the livestream before the premier started and he was a bit blunt, maybe the tourettes explains it. I thought he was maybe autistic.

Really raining there! At least the gold coast never gets cold. Sound is dodgy as. Poor Mel is dripping! Poor crowd! November does rain there, so this was perhaps poorly planned.

Abiola?, another typical housemate. Yellow looks great on her.

Vinnie - he's going to have a soapie career after this. Shame Neighbours got cancelled.

Emily, another 30 year old but looks more mature than Coco. Why did security escort her? Oh umbrellas haha.

Argh! Stream dropped, net is really slow tonight. So now its giving me 50 million ads before letting me back in on the action. Screw you tenplay! You should have let me watch live with the east coast! Had to switch to the on demand ep because the ads just wouldnt stop playing. Now I get why the international viewers dont want to watch it through the website when they can get it ad-free elsewhere.

Bruce is a bit of a hunk, didnt catch his age. Looks like he has genital herpes. I think the trad wife thing is probably just to rile people up. Mels banter was good with him.

Holly has the high maintenance posh spice look.

Edward looks like he still lives at home. Another 30 year old, I hope they have someone over 45 in there! Age range isnt great if not.

Mia, good choice of hair for the rain there! I am also a coke zero girl.

Micheal 49, not good enough if there is only 2 in their 40s! I'd prefer to see a better spread. He's a bit of hunk too. People are going to hate him. Of COURSE he's from Sydney. "no ones ever screamed my name before" Telling on yourself there Micheal. If he's rich Holly will tolerate it.

Only 12, I guess that is enough because I think this is a super short season. I understand why they have shorten it these days cost-wise. But I did like to see them go a bit stir crazy in the old series.

Well obviously, I want Jane to go in because I dont want to watch ALL 30 year olds. Bigbrother.com.au did not work for me, so I guess west coast is out of the voting. Again.

Its nice Big Brother made them eat a meal before getting on the booze. $100,000 isn't much. I dont think that much is worth the social media scrutiny.

Hmm quite small yard, and no pool? Must be more to it? Poor Holly, her outfit does look so uncomfortable, I'd rip off a sheet and wear that if my top was digging into my boob. I mean, Im not surprised shes been all over the world, my judging a book by its cover has been spot on so far. HAHA Got the shirt off Colins back, poor kid. You don't have a chance boy.

This stream/play back is terrible! drops out, ads start again, if I pause it shits itself and restarts - with ads. Never seen so many ads and it dies completely if I use adblock.

Caught up on BBUK! How often are BBAU episodes? We haven't watched the premiere yet.

It is interesting how much the audience didn't like Sam, Caroline and Nancy. But I think they caused too much drama. Honestly, Sam and Caroline may be right that the last week may be boring without them. But Jenny continues to shine as my favorite, with her reactions, and I really love Emily. I kind of hope either one of them win. I don't really like anyone else there for the win. Tate and Marcus haven't really done anything in the house. Elsa and Teja are just really young and annoying. Richard isn't that fun to watch, though I do like how he kept winding up Caroline. And Cameron is just there, kind of like Tate and Marcus, but worse.

Im watching the BBAU live stream now. Immediately slobs, quite the contrast to BBUK! Cast are all a bit same/same so far.

6 episodes a week - 7.30pm mon-fri and 7pm Sunday (evictions)

I have had the BBAU live stream on in the background most of the day and probably will until it ends. I was going to tweet away but I dont want that much attention haha. The daily show still had plenty of stuff that I hadnt seen, so it doesnt feel boring yet.

One thing I have noticed, the underwear boys just dont know how to act human. They seem to struggle in moments of silence and moments without someone else entertaining them. The podcast stuff is like pretend play, parading content they have consumed rather than being authentic. It reminds me a LOT of RizGod on Survivor49. These people havent developed in community themselves, they are mirroring what they have seen on tiktok. Its a natural thing for humans to mirror each other, but it is truly bizarre to watch all these young men being carbon copy content characters. They dont know how to just exist like Allana and Abiola do so effortlessly, the boys are always putting on an act, pushing.

Conor is very demanding, I dont think he is long for this show - but you wouldnt know it from the daily show! Edward was admiring trump on the live stream today, yet reddit is all about hating on the older housemates, since not everyone has seen the livestream and they are just assuming. It will be interesting to see the stories the daily show weaves in comparison to what I see on the live stream. The live stream is MILES better than BBUK, but its still not perfect. Everyone talking over each other and lots of cut aways to empty rooms and washers, frequent adverts as well.

I love Mel as host! She is so fun, and her energy really livens up the live broadcasts.

This cast is much more fun than the BBUK and BBUS casts. And I think it's because they are primarily an older crowd. Half are 30+, which makes a huge difference. The casting director did a fantastic job!

I love that BB stole their clothes and made them earn some back. I'm really concerned that Emily didn't get but 3 items in a whole minute. And she misheard BB, and the rules. While she couldn't grab her clothes, it didn't mean ONLY she could wear them. She's way over-analytical. I was like "WHY ISN'T SHE RUNNING AROUND DUMPING STUFF IN HER BASKET?" Colin did it right, though.

I can't watch livestreams, so I wonder if the editing is really great because I like this cast a lot. BBAU is normally my favorite of the three main English-speaking countries that do BB/Survivor, so that's on track. I'm excited to see how this series goes. And also happy that hubs and I still will have something to look forward to every night. Winter TV season will be quite boring after BBAU ends. (also love that it's summer in Australia, so I can live vicariously.)

I think you just like watching aussies hahah!
Mel has been brilliant 😀 Im so happy shes been received well, despite the poor stage planning and various glitches. She is a STAR and Im so glad shes got the gig. I didnt like Sonia for BB, much to be honest. Shes more a Dancing with the Stars type host. Mel is perfect!

I am loving the live stream! Last night was great. They had a big argument at the BBQ, about pretty much everything. Then they argued over how to argue. Lots of strops, tears and bitching followed. It will probably be on the daily show tonight. Coco and colin were sloshed.

I feel for Allana, carrying all the emotional load of the younger cast who lean on her as "mum". I wish they wouldnt put her in that position. Thats why I wanted to see a better spread of people in their 40/50's too. Yeah sure, skew younger, but have at least 3 more in the 40-60 age range if I had my way. Allana has the patience of a saint with these boys.

The little groups are forming. Conor and Abiola. Em, Ed and Mia. Bruce, Coco and Micheal. Holly and her boys. I did NOT anticipate Holly encouraging Colin like she does, it feels a bit too obvious that its not for real on her side, but the poor boy is head over heels. He kept curling himself into Holly last night, planting little kisses, while she would turn away without fully shutting him down. Holly kept mentioning the cameras and seeking them out, Colin is hyperaware of them too.

Now they a fighting over who left a skid mark in the toilets after the boys synchronised poos.

That last sentence. I’m deceased. ☠️
Sorry, BBUK is boring now that Caroline Nance and Sam are gone. Hate the letters from home stroppy bits. Poor Emily. I rekon they gave Cameron the finale pass because they knew he wont win. Voted him in as a guaranteed runner up.

BBAU Daily show and some live bits, plus nomination results SPOILERS for ep 4 daily show.
I saw the results on the live before the daily show aired here, so its going to be fun to see the reason. Holly had a meltdown after realising how many people would have nominated her to get that many points. I voted to save Micheal because he's unintentionally hilarious. After he was nominated he was all very much like "Well I didnt like you anyway!" and "the shows rigged anyway". 🤣 Hes so predictable.

Bruce declared loudly that he's never had an STD, confirming that he probably has in fact had STDs and just never got tested for them.

Here comes the BBQ! Lets see what the edit shows. Bruce complaining about Conor taking over the cooking was actually going on for over 30 mins before they sat down, the underwear boys had the biggest strop over cooking steaks. Pretty privilege has been Hollys rolling topic on live ever since this. She also thinks she was nominated cos shes pretty and they hate her for it. Seems they've skipped all the trump talk and politics again, yay because it was just yelly and not important. They got quite loud and Colin got heated and then burst into tears, drunkeningly crying to Allana a good chunk of the night. He cant handle his beers. The edit is being very kind to him, I'd not want to be anywhere near him in society. Too volatile and unpredictable. Anyway, they cut a LOT of the BBQ, but really it was a bit stressful anyway. Conor and Abiola had a lovely chat after about their minorities being the reason they got in to the house, but in general it is a disadvantage in life for both of them.

Funny Mel mentioning the washer/drying cos thats a running joke. I prefer the fish.

Coco, Micheal and Bruce spent most of the day together having spent so much time together, makes sense they were on each others minds. I like Coco more and more. I think Vinnie might win this. Edward is getting a kind edit too, he is not a nice bloke. Edward is my least liked out of all of the blokes, and thats saying something.

HAHA Jane nominated Holly! Holly went to Jane after she got nominated, for comfort. Jane told her straight up that she was being self absorbed and then some how Holly twisted that in to tall poppy syndrome and pretty privilege and they hugged it out in the end. Holly is the sort you love to hate.

Holly and Colin are making out on the live stream under a blanket, EW.
