Listened to a few more SR today and have to say that I am getting more into them. The IRYJ review was a good listen, and it was funny near the end when you kept referring to that intense computer nerd as "Jacked In"😀 Although just a correction his line from earlier in the episode is actually, "If you're Jacked in, you're not alive"😀

dusted has just reached its landmark 100th episode! Just listening to it and I will be interested to hear their thoughts on Untouched because I'm not a big fan😀

@Fuffy Baith I'm sure you said that you didn't like Untouched?😉 Its a mess of an episode I think, and the actress playing Bethany was terrible. Also, they wasted Lilah. I wasn't totally pleased with their review partly because they felt she had no place in the episode.

No. I like Untouched. I like Lilah and Bethany in it. It's not greatbut it's an OK episode. I'll have to listen to the review later to see what they say.

I like Untouched as well. I always felt Bethany should have made more than one appearance. They were originally going to give Dawn telekinetic powers.

But the problem is they do enough with that relationship or with Lilah in the episode. They set it up nicely, but then Lilah just becomes a sounding board for Holland, and the main plot just becomes too much about another W&H scheme. I think they should have played up more the idea that Lilah had a human side and explored her relationship with Bethany. It was a missed oppertuntiy for me.
I'm glad she didn't make more than one appearance. The character was very clitched IMO and the actress just pretty weak. Also, I think telekinetism is a very hard thing to make engaging on television, and it falls flat here just like it did in that season 1 X-Files episode.
We should be recording the next couple episodes of Slayer Revisited tomorrow. Covering I Only Have Eyes for You through Becoming Pt. 2.

I will have a catch up when after tomorrow. Still on season one. I'm assuming that your IOHEFY review will be pretty long? There is so much to discuss from that episode, and it just gets better with each viewing.
Hard to say. I would suspect so, but sometimes in the past ones I've expected to be long end up being quickies and others that I expect to be super short end up going 40 mins (IRYJ for example.)
I agree though, a lot thematically deep character stuff going on in that one.

See stuff like that never bothers me, because if it did then why would I watch something made in the 90s today? Because its a good show of course!😀 Also, I'm challenging you on that on the net thing? Because I'm pretty sure I've heard people refer to it as that even today😉

Not yet. Had a skim to see what it's like. I might add it to my rewatches before the episodes assuming the pace stays ahead of us.
Oh and as much as it might've sounded like I was complaining about the computer jargon, I actually find it quite endearing in a nostalgic way.
And I'll say it again, I have never ever heard someone say "the net." 😛

The Incomparable, which is one of my favourite podcasts, have finally started a Buffy series, after I tweeted them about it. Ok, it was probably nothing to do with my tweet! 😛
Anyway, they're doing it season by season and here is their Season 1 podcast - Tumblr Would Have Loved It (The Incomparable 298). They don't go into massive amounts of detail, but for a general overview it's a good listen and they take it episode by episode.
They are a great all round geek culture podcast too, with many excellent episodes, including a Joss Whedon one covering all his recent back catalogue of work, including Buffy - He Who Controls Mr. Peanut Controls the World (The Incomparable 12)
