Revenge is a dish best served cold. 😉
No, I'm actually against the whole 'taking revenge on some poor soul' thing. It just seems childish in some ways, and extreme in others. I'm not a fan of people getting hurt for any reason.
In childish revenge, people usually keep getting hurt if you continue on with it. In one of the books of the Christy Miller series, Katie, one of the characters, somehow managed to get 'revenge' on another character, Doug, but putting her brownie ice cream in his face [he knocked her and Christy in the water on purpose]. Somehow, it ended up that she got a bloody nose as a result of it. So as the book goes on, she had her boyfriend play a prank on him by portraying a brother defending his sister's honor [long story]. However, when Doug tried to block MIchael's 'punches', he accidentally punched poor Christy in the face.
In extreme cases, the person usually ruins their own life [like if they take revenge on somebody for killing their loved one].
Not. A. Fan.
