This is one the my favorite episodes so far, because the focus being on Cordy and Doyle.

nice ghost efx and Beth Grant was great as the ghost Maude.

looking forward to learning more about Doyle's backstory.
 
I looooooved this epidsode SO MUCH when I first started watching Angel. I loved seeing Cordy grow. You could see her changing before your eyes. And, it was quite a scary episode too!

Plus, Dennis is the product of this episode. Gotta love Dennis.



EDIT: Hahha, I remember I didn't understand this episode's title meant, "Room with a View", I used to pronounce it, "Ramawavu". Hahhahha.

I never realised that was dennis in the opening credits. Dennis is awesome.

Also, I do rather like this episode. It was really rather creepy which is a difficult thing to do as the whole haunted house idea is a little dated and cheesey but they did a really good job of it.

Also, this is one of the scariest episodes ever, at least for me. Ghosts always give me the creeps.

I love the fact that they called him Phantom Dennis because Star Wars Episode I had just come out ("The Phantom Menace"). 😛

I didn't know about the phantom dennis/phantom menace thing! Haha, that's funny!
A fantastic episode I love the little twist at the end with Cordy breaking the wall down and Dennis is finally freed. Its about time he was, he was the best ghost ever, I love him even more by the time season 3 rolls round for Cordy's birthday but Im not saying another word. 😀

Phantom Dennis is so great, I'd love to have him for a room mate. In that apartment too because it's beautiful.


Oh, the episode? That was great too. I remember it being my favourite S1 episode. The whole haunted house thing is a little old but it was executed great. I love how Cordy's and Doyle's relationship really grows in this one.

Everything, an emotional rollercoaster for Doyle and Cordy and the introduction of Phantom Dennis. Great performance from Beth Grant, a great actress you can also see in Speed, Six Foot Under, Donnie Darko etc

The Bad;

Bit of a reach that the ghost can do a perfect imitation of Angel's voice, is she the Terminator or something?

Best line:

Questions and observations;

Excellent ep with loads of good scenes and some real emotional impact, easily one of the best of season 1. I for one find it heartbreaking that Cordy has only five names in her LA phonebook and 3 are crossed out. Aura, her Sunnydale friend is the girl who finds the corpse in her locker in Welcome to the Hellmouth on Buffy.

Marks out of 5; 8/10
 
This is one of my faves. It was this episode that I liked Cordy (I wasn't really a fan back in Buffy).

I give it 9/10.
 
I love this episode so much. Too many good quotes and funny scenes from Cordelia, lol. I love Dennis. But I was so scared when they found him in the wall. And the flashback was so scary. I say 9/10. 🙂
 
nice episode!!!Introduction of Dennis who proved to be very,very loyal to Cordy throughout the series!and of course good old Cordy is back!Go Cordy kick the old lady's ass!!!(that doesn't sound so well unless the old lady is an evil ghost!LOL)
