S3 and post s3 wesley= annoying

nu uh

Oh my god i love Wesley, even me Miss.Full-of-hate has loved Wesley since I saw him on Buffy....he was awesome and I loved watching him evolve as a character
 
After Wes left Buffy, he was never annoying. He has been one of my favorite characters since he started on Angel. And the only reason he became the leader in season 2 was because Gunn and Cordy didn't know what to do. They kept saying how much they wished Angel was there, and Wes came back with "Well he's not, Angel may have turned his back on his mission but we aren't going to." He took charge and told them that they were gonna go save that girl. And that's why he became the leader. And from there Wes's character grew a lot. And he became a different person, it was really after that, that he wasn't the bumbling idiot he was on Buffy. And I love that Wesley.
 
I had enjoyed Wesley's development as a character . . . until the mind-wipe of "Home". To be honest, I truly disliked Season 5 Wes.

I dunno i never really liked wesleys supposed dark side and it always annoyed me how he got away with all taht stuff when he delibrately did it when people like faith who murdered, originally at least, accidentally where abused for it. Then again angel and co did have a less deontological approach to things than buffy and the scoobs
 
Forgive me for not reading the whole thread, as it's a lot, so I'm probably going to repeat what's been said.

I hated Wesley during his run on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and wasn't fond of him when he was introduced to Angel, but season three was when I truly started to like him. As he became more darker and less goofy he seemed more real to me. His evolution through the Buffyverse was a true reflection as to what most people would be like after experiencing the things he has. I thought he was a fascinating character after season three. To be honest, there were times where I thought he was really being a drag and got frustrated with him, but for the most part I thought the change was for the better (for the show at least).

Wesley was very annoying at the beginning of the series. He never made it onto my list of characters that I liked in the show. I will admit that he was better in the later parts of Angel, but I dislike him in Buffy and early Angel.

Aww. I found him refreshing. I mean, besides Xander, there hadn't really been another character for comic relief. I mean, Alexis is a great actor - he pulled off both the physical comedy as well as Wesley's dark character. I thought he was...funny. =/ *Shrug*
but you gotta admit, seeing him shoot someone in the kneecap was AWESOME!

Hahaha. I always thought it was interesting how he had become this badass Pierce Brosnan-ish character in his later "Angel" seasons, just as everyone had compared him to on "Buffy" in season three.
 
Annoying would be a strong word, he is a very complicated character and one can not be sure if to like him or not (I mean, at least me)
 
yes he was very annoying in season 3....angel had a right to try and kill him....grrrrr.....( oh my god he and alyson hanagain......nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo) not being biased on that....
