Say Something Nice About...Kennedy

No trouble 😛 For those who have seen the L Word it made me think of the chart. Like playing six degrees of separation, but with lesbians...that would mean there would only be 4 degree of separation between Buffy and Willow...YIKES!
 
Personally, I think that Satsu should get pelvic with Willow just so there can be a character in the Buffyverse that had sex with both Buffy AND Willow. Angel's like I'm a big champion, I saved the world! and Spike's like I won a soul, saved the world! and then Satsu's like I'm a slayer-ninja and I slept with Buffy and Willow! It's funny really. We love it when Buffy question authority and don't simply do what she's told. She makes her own rules. She's the lead character, we know her well. We root for her. In comes someone with similar traits but that's been trained by a watcher for a long time so she's more confident in her role than Buffy was in the beginning. So we hate her? Because she's not taking orders from Buffy herself. Also, she replaces Tara. How can we love her? Clearly it isn't easy for most.

I don't mind Kennedy. At times she's annoying and I wish she'll get told off. Sometimes I find her very charming and cute. She's good for Willow. She's the potential with most potential (!) and you want her on your side in a fight. The confidence thing definitely has it's positives as been brought up before. No one is perfect but to me she gets way more hate than she deserves.
 
She never was my favourite, but I never understood all the hate towards Kennedy. She's beautiful, she was the most capable potential, and she was not afraid to go into a fight. She was confident as a Slayer and as a girl, and she was there for Willow, and really loved her. 🙂

The biggest problem with Kennedy is that she comes after Tara, and everybody loves Tara.😀
 
Don't think I can, don't even like the name. It works as a last name, but not a first name😉

Give Kennedy some love or you're not invited anymore!
She's brave, confident, strong and isn't afraid to voice her mind. I also love that while she's created to be Willow's girlfriend, she's also her own character.
 
She was the only Slayer willing to step up to the plate and get her hands dirty during the war with The First. That's gotta count for something.
I also like how she started Deepscan and became a kind of cool big sis for all her fellow Slayers, which includes giving Buffy and Faith a job. The former had hit rock bottom and the latter was looking to make amends -- basically she helped them get their shit together.

Well, if we're being superficial (not that there's anything wrong with that) and complimenting Kennedy on her eyes, looks, etc then we should mention that Willow seems...very pleased with Kennedy in more intimate ways.
And after she got her slayers powers probably even more so- they tend to be 'enthused', 'bunny in the sack' types. 😀 (Those were quotes people, not my personal opinion)

She wanted Willow. Then she got Willow. No matter how Willow was unprepared for a new relationship.
She managed to live in the hellmouth battle.
She wanted to help people for money. Then she built herself from nothing a huge company that can shame W&H. In comparison, Angel Investigations sold themselves for a so called "branch" that can't even directly contact senior partners. Lame.

If one day Kennedy wants to save the world, Buffy really should retire. She's better than you in everything I mean it Buff.

I might be joking. But it's not just bad writing for Kennedy.

If we say that Kennedy leads a Mary-Sue life, then Buffy and Angel was written as kinda anti-Mary-Sue in the later part of the show.

Especially Angel. Your reason of rejecting Jasmine was the importance of free will and in the very next episode you took your choice of your son and managed to manipulate your friends' memories without their agreement?

Buffy was a little better. At least she managed to win once in the last two whole damn seasons.

They should really learn something from Kennedy.
