and how that paralles buffy and spike when spike says "I love you" and Buffy says "No you don't", I think it might have been in dead things?
 
I think Buffy meant it & Spike was telling her not to feel sorry about it.
 
I think they both meant it and they both knew the other person meant it. Buffy knew Spike loved her but wanted him to stop and I think Spike knew Buffy loved him but wanted her to leave so she would be safe and not die in the fire with him.

The "every night" speech is a killer. God once again Marsters knocks it out of the park with this one. Imo he really manages to sell the depth of Spikes love for her incredibly well.

I know. Can anyone honestly imagine anyone else as Spike? I wonder who else they auditioned for the role. I don't think anyone could play Spike with the same emotional and physical gravitas as James Marsters....

I hate that speech. Not sure why...maybe it seems lame to me, like I wonder was he planning to spend the rest of his undead eternity wringing his hands over not saving Buffy?

Maybe that is why people have the theory that his saying "no you don't, but thanks for saying so" is about him wanting Buffy to not mourn him too much, because he knows he would have spent forever mourning her.

I think I'm the only Spuffy ever to gag at that line. That's my second most hated Spuffy moment, right after "I'm drowning in you Summers, I'm drowning in you."

Hence, the reason my ex said I am the least romantic person he knew. Ironic since Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays. I'm one of those riddle wrapped in an enigma type people.

JM made Spike. Literally. The character would have died after 5 episodes. He created that character as much as any of the writers. He's an amazing actor. Can you tell I'm a little bit besodded?

I am going to see him in concert next month...swoon. I don't love his singing, but I want to gaze at him from the front row.

I'm sure you're have a great time. His choice in music isn't my taste either, but for wee Jimmy? I'll put up with it. 😀 JM's a bit older and 'cruncher' round the face, but still a very handsome guy. I'n all the years of meeting him at fan events I've never been disappointed with him.

And yes, JM really made Spike. Can you imagine some, can we say, more 'blokey' actors delivering some of Spike more emotional lines? It would have put a whole new spin on the character, and for the worst imo.

when they're fighting together she calls his name. Then she says I love you. And then looking at the crater she says spike again. Those are here 3 last lines in the show

I'd like to be included in the oil, the shower or anything else that you manage to arrange with JM. Just say where and when.
 
I can see why you would like it but I think you should keep Andrew far away from that. He ruin the mood I think . And as for me you think you could get Eliza ?
