Is Sp*ffy subtext a Big Bad?,no?.Oh,well...nothing/no one then.In my opinion,they weren't scary,they were lame. Oh,TFE!,so evil!!:🙄:...it wasn't even corporeal...
 
I thought Caleb was creepy. But I also thought Warren as the first was freakin scary too.

Sidenote: Adam Busch said to play the First, he went on his tip toes and held out his shoulder to let his arms dangle. Joss Whedon's wife said she was terrified. I was, too.
 
The Ubervamps kinda creeped me out at first, but then Caleb came along and that was just....freaky lol. he was pretty much indestructable and he really beat up Buffy alot :shinner:
 
Giles! He was really mean in this season 😀!
But Caleb was really scary 'cuz he dont care about anything and he killed a lot of little girls 😛
 
I picked Caleb too. The whole scene down in the Wine Cellar and what he did to those girls and Xander while dressed in religious garb is just plain freaky.
 
Especialy what he did to Xander! I was like totaly surpised when he came up to Xander and sutff, and then did what he did. :buble_eye Then I was like Caleb should die :fighting1 He was realy scary, creepy and all those words that describe him.
 
Most definitely Caleb-the sheer act of being sacreligious while in the guise of a priest was disturbing enough, but the actor was so good, you felt like he believed his statements down to his core and that kind of fanaticism is always the scariest thing.
 
Caleb is the scariest because he was so damn evil, through and through. Everytime the Xander eye gouging is on I cover my eyes but I still here the squelching sound, makes me go "eeeeeeew"

The First was scary at the start, quite scary in CWDP but then became more the "person" who pestered the gang.
 
Caleb-CUz he poked out xanders eye!!When i was watching it i was like OMG! EVIL.And he killed loads of the potentials..I didnt like his first ep were he stabbed that girl either..that freaked me out...
 
Caleb, the thought of a demon preacher just makes me "Beejuses." Ugh. God, I was so glad when Buffy cut his balls off.That was a load off.
 
I think Caleb was pretty creepy...

He'd find disgusting things great...like Xander's eye *shudders*

Besides, the fact that no one could beat him kinda put me on edge...

So yeah, my vote goes to him...
 
I said The Bringers. They had big gut knifes, they were the scariest!

Agreed, and you know what's even more terrifying? There are people - real people, that perform his act. I once was researching....things....and came across this site that was pre-Buffy-season-seven, and spoke of evil priests. Ones that carried a Southern accent with them, along with a handy-dandy Bible, and would go door to door preaching. When people let them in their homes (I mean, who wouldnt? They look and sound like innocent people.) the priests kill them. *Shudders*
